Wild Wing Cafe

This is a horrible restaurant poor quality of food and management. The bartender "Jack" feels entitled too tell customers how much to tip and the restaurant has a pungent oder of sewage. I have been here many times and Bobby the manger as well as his assistant manger are doing a horrible job as evidenced by a constant turnover of employees. Avoid this restaurant at all cost.

Mushroom appetizer waaaaay over breaded and spicy with nasty cayenne-must be a new chef-nothing like this appetizer used to be. Almost no mushroom inside the unpleasant breading. Exact same scenario with the onion ring appetizer-a nice sweet onion encased in a huge amount of cayenne laced gooey breading. Would never recommend these two appetizers to anyone with these new “spicy recipes”. Veggie quesadillas were supposed to have cheese in them, but nada. Wings were average with average sauces. Service was average to slow and not due to a crowd. Place must be under new management.

We went to Wild Wing for dinner. The location is in downtown Johnson City. The nightlife is very active and we thought we would have parking problems but we had no trouble finding a space. The restaurant is a large space with roll up doors, multi levels and a large U-shaped bar. They also had pool tables in one area of the restaurant. Services was good but not really personal with a number of servers bringing food, drinks, and the bill. The food was good and reasonably priced. They had live music and the performers were excellent. The volume was good with still being able to carry on a conversation. There were primarily college students as patrons and was well staffed. We will stop by again.

Waitress was good with sp given short staff. Food service was terrible—took over an hour to get most of our meals; not all came. Some were wrong, others served cold or over cooked food. Other tables served ahead of us. Mgr danced around about issues in kitchen. Should have given everyone free meal. Won’t be back for a long time if ever!

Our server Carter was absolutely the best. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. My Son order wings which he stated were perfect. My Daughter had a side salad and nuggets which she says were very good. I had the Buffarella wrap with tots. The wrap was very good and tossed in my choice of sauces. Great spot to watch any sports for sure and a large enough venue to accommodate large groups.
