Julie, at the South Ealing branch, is a walking store directory & is massively knowledgable on all the stores products. Not only that, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Lots more like her please.

Decent collection, friendly prices. I was looking for a kitchen. Unfortunately, price information not available, no one to answer simple questions. The only answer I received was - ‘sorry no staff today’ Edit 1: although I was not happy the first time I visited wickes, I am very happy about the subsequent visits. Helpful staff, lot of choice, seamless collection and return options.

Came in this morning and was served by the wonderful Julie, she was super helpful and knowledgeable with helping me choose the right paint for each room and even gave me some recommendations on how to prepare the walls for decorating which were absolutely spot on, she deserves all the promotions and recognition, the only downside was there was no carrier bags but that was not a fault of hers!! She’s truly amazing -Jamie

A bit hopeless really. Booked design appointment for 2pm on a Saturday. On Friday I called to ask whether we could move the appointment to 1pm and told no because all slots are super tight and the designers are very busy. Then got a call on Saturday morning telling me the appointment is cancelled as they have no designers on site that day. LOL In a way it is a blessing in disguise. If they can’t sort an appointment out I wonder how they can fit a house.

I would have put two stars for the service last time when I asked to access my gift card and was told to go away because it would not work . I then went the next time and met a woman called Julie who kindly helped me even though it was difficult . Rather than turning me away she helped get the gift card and access the money in it and I was able to use it. Thanks Julie
