Few months ago I was interviewed in this company. The interviewer name was Deepak. The experience was not up to my expectations. The interviewer appeared very confident, but during the technical round, he consistently dismissed my correct answers as wrong. After the interview, I verified my responses and confirmed that I was indeed correct. It seemed like the interviewer had memorized questions from the internet without fully understanding the underlying concepts. This false confidence can be misleading, not just for candidates but also for the company's internal growth. It gives the impression that there may be gaps in the technical knowledge within the team, and such individuals can easily create an illusion of expertise. It even made me wonder if the interviewer had exaggerated his experience to secure a leadership role. Thankfully, I was not selected for this position. However, shortly after, I was offered a role at a Big 4 company, which reassured me about my capabilities and knowledge. Advice to Management: I recommend that the company reassess how they allocate leadership roles and conduct interviews. Confidence is valuable, but it should be backed by real knowledge and experience. Ensuring that interviews are conducted by genuinely skilled professionals will protect the company's reputation and help attract better talent.
