Victoria's Mansion

Absolutely loved my stay at this downtown Toronto hotel! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views of the skyline. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, offering warm and professional service throughout our stay. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is a gem. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Victoria's Mansion...a Victorian Era home built in the 1800's, very much has the character that some people appreciates, rooms is equipped with all the comforts of home without taking away the charm of the house. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice linens and a lovely bathroom, beds has a lot of the charm of the time period. The layout is quaint and cozy, a TV with channels, microwave and fridge for your convenience along with a kettle and coffee and tea station. The house is surprisingly quiet, was expecting squeaky floors as its mostly hardwood of it being built during the time period. Located on a tree lined quiet street, the property is within walking distance to most amenities like shops, bars/restaurants and the wellesley subway station is a few short distance away, the value of this property can't be beat for anything in downtown Toronto. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and help with anything you may need, my stay was a lovely one and will definitely recommend to friends.

Stayed here recently for Taylor Swift and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, our room was ready even when we arrived 30 minutes early, the amenities were great and the room was clean. Super close to the subway and you could be downtown very quickly. We felt safe walking around in the early hours of the morning. Would definitely stay again!

Compared to other locations in the area, this is a less expensive location to stay. The rooms are small and a bit dated, but clean. Our bed was very firm so be aware if that is important to you. The building is not wheelchair accessible and you will need to climb at least one set of stairs to get to your room. There is a lot of offsite parking available. Overall, nothing fancy, but good for a short stay.

As far as I know, unbeatable price for a great location. A stone's throw from the Storm Crow, an unforgettable themed eatery, handy to subway, steps from Yonge Street. Charming exterior and common areas. No hassle check in check out, clean, tidy. The not-so-good: rooms are tiny. Bathroom especially cramped. Lots and lots of stairs. If you are mobility challenged you will need to take a ground floor room or look elsewhere. Beg to differ with other posters: the bed was fine, yes it is firm, but we love/need firm beds and we woke pain free (55 y.o. with history of back problems). 4 stars adjusted for price to 5.
