Dr Ma and his staff are amazing! He is very professional and very compassionate. He cares not only about you physically but mentally too. I lost my husband very suddenly last Dec. at age 53 and it’s been tough. But Dr Ma always asks how I’m doing and really cares. I would definitely recommend him.

My dad, an army veteran, finally received a long-awaited liver transplant, through this hospital. After he walked through the doors, my fears and worries about his care not being at the VA disappeared. I am so incredibly happy that they proved those negative thoughts wrong! The stress and anxiety from the whole situation had my family on edge but the staff here helped calm our nerves. They have treated us with respect and compassion and are on top of keeping us updated with any information on my dad. I'm feeling pretty confident that my dad will have a safe and comfortable recovery here 😁

Although they do have a very skilled transplant team, I deeply believe there was some negligence on their part when dealing with my boyfriend who passed away in their care. He was a double lung and heart transplant, taking a certain anxiety medication which lung transplant patients should never take. He was very young, 25 years old and a very good person may his soul rest in peace in Jesus name. AND then on top of everything his car was stolen from the parking ramp after his passing, and the security team never gave his mother an answer on that. Would not recommend. Another thing, the female nurses really need to be re trained or something every time they came into his room they were all in AWE acting like they never seen a black man before and that was very unprofessional.

Laura Hermsen ,PA UW Health provided an exemplar consultation and treatment plan for my medical needs. Went well above in explaining in detail my options. Very professional and caring. Spent ample time and I didn’t feel like a number being sent through the normal operating procedures.

Easily the best hospital in the state. The internal organization is unmatched. Faxes get to where they're going, messages get to where they're going, phone schedulers/receptionists/nurses transfer calls correctly and respond quickly, and things are generally running on time. I've been treated well in every department I've gone to at all hours of the day and weekends, even if I messed up the process on my end. It works better than hospitals with fewer patients that aren't training new doctors. Despite the scale of operations, employees treat me like an individual and always seem to put in their best effort on my behalf
