Glad to have some veg/vegan options available that weren't the typical items. The Brussels were amazing and I opted for the Seitan tenderloin. I was definitely happy with that choice. Uplands beer is always great, and on tap is even better. Would come here again if I was in the area.

Quite a nice place near IU serving great burgers among other fare. Loved the bison burger -- very flavorful. The hostess was a delight and was very friendly. She recommended a local brew, the ginger peach which was fantastic. Great fries to accompany the burger.

Loved the vegan offerings! It's always great to find something other than an impossible burger (which they also have) The brussel sprout appetizer was probably my favorite. I enjoyed my BBQ tofu and I sampled my husband's vegan tenderloin which was also very good.

Good beer and wine, and great service in an inviting space. We didn't eat this time, but the food has been good in the past. Totally worth a trip.

Elise took care of us today, hooking it up with their 10% military discount. Killer burger special. Ordering to how cooked you want your burger done is refreshing. Nice taproom with loads of seating plus a huge patio. Close to 20 beers on tap, with a bent toward sours, but also IPA's, porter, wheat, and pale Ale. I had a flight and a pint. All good. The berr cheese burger was messy, but good, and the fries were very good.

Couples lunch on the patio. Good food. Great beer. Only suggestion is make staff a bit more professional.

Upland is a local favorite, typically casual adult crowd. Busy, busy, busy open to close. While Upland is many things, it is not a binge drinkers scene. This place has great food, professional staff. Although I am not a craft beer connoisseur, I stay mainstream and accept the criticism, my associates are and love their options at Upland. I recommend the nachos (totally shareable) also the fish and chips which are comfortable and reliable. Definitely a great choice for a casual night out for couples or friends.

The production brewery for Upland beers is located on the west side of Bloomington in an industrial section of town, but for many reasons is a wondrous hidden gem and for many years a great local secret. The tasting room was remodeled in January of 2017 and greatly enlarged. It is a meeting place for many locals, where they gather to share their passion for crafted ales. Unlike the Upland Restaurant on 11th street, to date there is no food production kitchen, but customers are welcome to bring in snacks. Those looking for larger full meal service should look to the in city location. One of the great attributes of the bar is a large outside patio, with many picnic tables and a campfire ring. Small satellite loudspeakers play classical rock, rhythm and blues, and jazz both inside and outside the tasting room. There are also tours of the brewery on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There are also beer specials.....including limited beer offerings which do not make it to the commercial market, and low priced specials like $2 pints on Sundays (as of 2/1/17). There are dart boards and a couple of flat screens for IU sporting events. This is a great place with kind bartenders and a lot of local flavor (s).
