Trummer's

The food was absolutely delicious. I think the cornbread was probably the best I've had. The pork chops were amazing and had a subtle smokey taste, and I really liked the asparagus soup with lardon. The boar pasta dish was delicious! The ambiance is super cute warm, rustic, and romantic with a touch of luxury. I think this place is a must visit if you have been in the DMV for a long time. The prices are good for the superb quality and portion of food!

We celebrated a special occasion at this elegant restaurant in Clifton a while back, and the memories we created at this place are unforgettable, especially the dishes we had. They were perfect, made from carefully selected ingredients, cooked to perfection, and had a perfect balance of flavors and textures that melted in the mouth. Our excellent server suggested drinks that paired well with each dish, and the homemade desserts were terrific. The place is well-decorated with old charm and elegance, and everything else creates a lasting memory. I highly recommend this place for celebrating special occasions in life with your loved ones.

This place is fantastic. My father and I come here and always split the Joyce Farm chicken. It is so juicy and delicious, and has the most amazing sauce. The carrots and fingerling potatoes are great to accompany. Now the dessert is incredible! The pastry chef (Amanda is her name, I believe) is so talented. Every time we come here, the dessert menu changes, and we are excited to try the new items. The Peach Fair Cake was absolutely amazing. The popcorn ice cream is also a winner. Mike (the manager) is very friendly and always makes a point to come over to our table to chat since we are regulars. If you go here, you NEED to get dessert.

We love going to Trummer's and often enjoy our visits. However, tonight was a bit different as we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. If you're visiting for a special occasion, be sure to specify your seating preference. Although the restaurant was empty at 5 PM, we were seated in a dark corner near both service door entries, which felt like an afterthought. The area was so dim they had to turn on the lights specifically for us. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and our waiter was great. The dinner, though, was a bit heavy on the salt, but the Brie was fantastic. We especially love Trummer's for its wine selection. However, I'm not sure we'll return if it means sitting in that overlooked corner again.

With a menu that rotates in new item regularly, and a very attentive staff, Trummers has become our place to got for special events and our place to bring out of town guest. I have never had a bad meal or drink here(Get the Titanic). And when it comes to price you truly get what you pay for. Love this place for real!
