The Yellow Chilli

I had a really bad experience. If I could rate it negative I really would have rated in minus. I thought it's a restaurant by Sanjeev Kapoor so food would be extraordinarily amazing! But sadly it was the opposite. I ordered 1 Tawa Chaap, 1 Murgh Survedar, 1naan, 1Rumali Roti and a sizzling brownie to end with. Tawa Chaap - 1/5 (2 for the gravy) There was thick gravy which was fine but there was hardly any meat in it, only bones. So if u wish to eat meat then don't go for it. Murgh Survedar - 1/5 As per the staff's suggestion, we took it as he said it's the best seller there but it wasn't great either! Sizzling Brownie - 0/5 This dessert was a complete disaster! We thought we did not get amazing food so at least let's please our taste buds with some amazing dessert, but the brownie was so horrible that we had to leave it.. we couldn't eat even 2-3 bites.. a roadside brownie would taste better than it.. If you guys are charging so heavily for every dish, at least don't make the customer regret it! The total for this trash food was around Rs.2500 for 2 people. Coming to the service part, the service is fine. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food is average as compared to the fame of the restaurant. The ambience is good and the staff is a bit slow responding.

We had a family dinner here on a Saturday evening. Luckily we didn't have to wait for a table since we reached here by 7.30pm. For starters we had the cheese chilli chicken and shabnam ke moti, both the items were extremely delicious and it took about 20 mins to serve the starters. In mains we ordered the paneer tikka lababdar along with butter rotis. All the items were delicious 😋. We had a toddler with us and the restaurant provided us with a child's chair, that really made the experience at the restaurant much better. The only negative point is that even though the menu card mentioned that the restaurant doesn't levy any service charge, when we received the final bill, there was a 6% service charge levied. Either they should correct their menu or remove the service charges.
