The Rimrock Resort Hotel

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to the gondola, free bus passes to get into town. Rooms are great with excellent views but starting to get a little dated. Service was typically prompt and meticulous but staff occasionally overwhelmed with multiple tasks. Heated pool very nice. Spent 8 days there and well worth it, Eden is worth the experience too.

The hotel had an intimate and cozy feel to it. The views are amazing, the food was great, but the best part was the people that worked there. I found them to be friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and extremely helpful. All of them, front desk, bell/vallet staff, concierge, room service, housekeeping, spa attendants, cafe clerk…..all very friendly and professional. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at and will gladly stay again.

Our stay at this hotel over Valentine's Day was underwhelming. Despite the hefty price tag of over $400 a night, our room offered an unpleasant view. The bed was noisy, squeaking every time we moved, and when we called the front desk to request a room change, they were unable to accommodate us, which was disappointing. The hot tub was in poor condition, and the sauna was cramped, more like a closet than a relaxing space. At Primrose, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks, even though it was already 10 pm. On a positive note, the shuttle and front desk staff were fantastic, and the hotel’s proximity to the gondola was a convenient perk. However, paying $35 per day for parking felt excessive, especially since there was already a daily resort fee.

A Wonderful Dining Experience at Primrose! We had the pleasure of dining at Primrose yesterday, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the mushroom spaghetti and the chicken burger, and both dishes were prepared to perfection. The quality of the ingredients and the flavors were outstanding. The service was phenomenal, with our server going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu. Highly recommended! Let me know if you’d like to personalize it further!

This is a great place to visit if given the chance. The facility was clean and taken care of. The food and drinks were great. The staff was very accommodating. We had two issues occur, while there, the staff went out of their way to help out in every way possible. Very positive experience, and I would go back there again. Highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to banff.
