The Rimrock Resort Hotel

We visited for a conference this December. The experience was excellent overall - our room was great. Despite being told it had a partial obstructed view, it was actually a fantastic view. The workshop space was perfect for our group's needs. We visited both Larkspur and Primrose and the food and drinks were all outstanding, as well as the conference meals. Gym is a little dated but had everything we needed, the hot tub is very hot and perfect for a relaxing dip.

Amazing experience. Amazing service. I didn’t give 5 stars for the rooms for two reasons. 1) the washrooms were pretty basic for the price we were paying and the luxury of the hotel. 2) the first room we were assigned had an issue with the bathtub plumbing and as a result we had to change rooms. In my opinion it’s something that should’ve been checked before we got there. Other than that the service was great and they handled that issue with class and accommodated us properly despite being fully booked for the weekend.

I just had the most excellent experience at the Rimrock! This hotel is truly special. Unlike hotels in downtown Banff, Rimrock makes you feel like you are on the edge of the Wilderness (which you are!) while providing all the amenities that one could want! I don’t understand people complaining that the hotel is dated. It hasn’t changed much at all since 1993 and is in extremely good condition that’s part of its charm! Staff are excellent, everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. Room was a very good size and bed super comfortable! Excellent food at Primrose and Larkspur Lounge! I’ll be back for sure!

I have not been to the Rimrock in years, the Fairmont has always been my go to. I decided to change it up and was thrilled with the decision. It was my Birthday and I wanted to make it memorable. Our room was perfect, with stunning views. A bottle of champagne and a piece of cake waiting in our room made my day! We had the best meal I have ever had with the most amazing service at the Eden restaurant. I am looking so forward to another stay!

The Rimrock Hotel Resort is in a sensational location perched on the high side of Town with beautiful views. Service at the resort is excellent everyone is very friendly and engaging asking after our welfare consistently. The Hotel itself is of a beautiful style with all the facilities one could hope for. Having said that the Rooms are comfortable and have beautiful views with lots of amenities, however are looking a little tired and would benefit from an update. Overall the Rimrock is an excellent resort
