I called to ask what documents they require, as I was abroad for a multi country business trip. The agents on the call told me I need a proof of address and an ID. I asked if this applies to international business owners and explained I cannot provide a notarised document. They say it is ok, if I give them an additional piece of ID which shows the address. So I signed up, paid. And 2 days later they send me an email saying I need a notarised document. So, I told them they told me, they do not need it. They did not care. Then they proceed to interview me, on a webinar. During one year I paid for their services, I got 2 letters, nothing else. Sure enough they failed to notify me, so I almost failed to have my business removed from Company House. Further more, when I could not enter the account for weeks in a row. The link was not working. So, I just decided I ll get another service provider. When they tried to charge me I did not pay, and I explained i cannot enter into the account, could not change my credit card informations, and their services are poor. The answer: they just ignored me telling them I cannot enter the account, and refused to cancel, my subscription. They sent email requesting me to cancel from my account the subscription, saying they will keep the subscription valid if not. I had to inform them it is ilegal to not cancel a subscription when the client requested by written notice, and inform them I will file against them if they go on. So, if I had the option to give them a minus 50 I would. These people have self centred manipulative behaviour. Beware!

I've been using Hoxton Mix for about 2 years now and I've never had any issues whatsoever, prices are very reasonable and their customer service is top notch! Excellent value for money and I will keep using them. Keep up the great work guys! 10/10

Today I cancelled! Having been a long-time customer for their mail service (by collection) since 2016/17, around the time this business started, for years I was happy with the service, only using it for a handful of postal items each year. Things changed in late 2023, when the directors apparently ordered staff to destroy post, despite there being a note on my account that I would collect my one or two letters every few months. Yes, this is not in the contract, but staff agreed and didn't state it could be a problem. No one bothered to notify that the post was to be destroyed. Surely it's an unacceptable act to shred mail when you've agreed to offer a duty of care? Sadly, some of the lovely, hardworking staff I was familiar with changed over around the same time in late 2023, too, which seems a coincidence. I wish the best for the staff there going forward 🫡 [Review edited after being contacted by a company director that implied legal accountability for what they considered to be defamatory remarks, fair enough] After reading the company's response below (posted several hours after the edit noted above) it is obvious to see that they have no concern for customers' privacy, so just ask yourself if these are people you want to entrust your business with!
