The Hartwell

I recently became a customer of The Hartwell Corporation. At first, I was checking into them out of due diligence for a business general liability policy as I thought I'd already decided on a policy from an Internet based broker that was cheap. After all, I am a millennial. After making a connection with David Martin (who was willing to help me over the phone even while on a family vacation, and he connected me with Isaiah Paz), I realized there was a lot more I had not considered on my policy and the coverage that I needed. I never felt pressured but rather educated by Isaiah. Since I'm in the investment advising and life insurance field, this is really important to me. It was clear Isaiah is not just a guy seeking to close a commission but takes a holistic approach to properly servicing his customers and clients. I decided to go with the policy recommended by THC and I'm glad that I did. It made sense both economically and functionally and now I have a local agency to interface with on my needs, versus somebody in a far off land via email. Call them, you won't regret it.

We have had trouble with our home owners claim that was Safco (Liberty Mutual) through the Hartwell Corporation. Melinda was the only one that tried to help us, she was awesome but our agent was not. The agent we have (Lindsay) we have only met 1 time that was when we were working on the claim for our house. She knows that we are going to be looking for a new insurance company but she has done nothing to help us find one. She hasn’t had any contact with us. Now we are going to be looking for a different agent and a new corporation to help us with our insurance needs. Don’t let the Hartwell corporation get you Liberty Mutual for your homeowner insurance they are worthless their adjuster Samantha is the worst. She is almost impossible to get a hold of. The sad part is that we have had the same insurance for over 30 years and only 1 claim. Each time they gave us a different agent things got worse. And on top of that are homeowners and auto insurance has almost doubled.

The team at Hartwell is top-notch. In my recent experience, Tori went way above and beyond to help our team solve a health insurance-related issue. She contacted us instantly once we reached out with a solution. The most amazing thing is the issue was with a different broker & when the other guy was falling short, Tori picked up the slack because she cared about us. Tori and the team at Hartwell know their stuff and they are there when you need them. This is a team you want on your side.

I called for commercial insurance to fulfill requirements for obtaining Idaho contractor license. Dave did not want to be bothered with me, in his words, it is too frustrating for us to insure small contractors, they never pay the bills. I told him my plan is to be able to bid on large jobs after obtaining a license and he just didn't want to be bothered. I was treating like a child. He was not very polite.

New to Idaho, called The Hartwell Corporation looking for personal and commercial insurance. The knowledge the advisors had was very impressive. The service has been excellent over the last year. They made the insurance transition of the move so simple for us. Thank you!
