People at the reception are super nice, polite, caring and kind. The service is amazing. Breakfast is so nutritious, fresh and healthy. Good quality of coffee makes your mood to be good and positive the rest of the day. Laundry is clean with good quality detergent and 24/7 available. Room service personnel is beyond the expectation. Doesn’t matter at what part of the day we leave the room, when we are back it’s tidy and clean as if a fairy waved with magic wand. The hotel location is so beneficial if you are going to visit museums, Parliament House or restaurants. Kitchen is so good and spacious. It allows you to cook the meals on your own or make hot ready food from outside. Thank you so much for all the personal and owner of the Business Inn for wonderful and unforgettable New year vacation!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here with my sister and 2 kids for a long weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The decor is definitely outdated and i saw bangs and scratches on the walls, however the cleanliness was 10/10. Our room was large and spacious with a full kitchen, computer desk and printer. I enjoyed the amenities even if they are older. Breakfast was free which the kids enjoyed. The location is perfect as it's 1 block away from city hall, uottawa, and many family activities. Overall at this hotel you get what you pay for. A clean friendly place to stay on a budget. I am happy and satisfied with my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to someone else.

I recently visited Ottawa for business and needed a reasonably priced hotel for a few days. After some research, I decided on this hotel, thinking it looked decent and affordable. On arrival, the setup was a bit unconventional—the front desk also seemed to double as an office for the staff. After check-in, I was directed to parking and told I could use a side door. While I initially felt uneasy about it, the cold weather convinced me to give it a try. My first impression of the hotel’s interior was that it seemed a bit run-down, and some upgrades would improve the common areas like the hallway. However, when I entered my suite, my perspective completely changed. The suite wasn’t just a room—it was almost as big as my condo in Toronto and had everything I could need to live there comfortably: pots, pans, plates, utensils, a humidifier, a fancy alarm clock, a full-sized fridge, a computer, a printer, and even a desk cover that doubled as a mouse pad (a lifesaver since I forgot mine). The attention to detail was impressive, and the cleanliness made me feel completely at home. One small drawback was the lack of a rug on the tiled floor, which would have been especially nice during the cold winter months. And the blinds needs to be replaced, but as a business owner myself, these minor issues were insignificant overall, the room’s amenities and the cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. The location was another highlight, with restaurants right across the road and a large gym with all the equipment I needed. I quickly grew to love the side door entrance—it felt more like coming home than returning to a hotel. One standout feature was the full laundry room with complimentary detergent. Although I didn’t use it, knowing it was there added to the homey feel of the place. What impressed me most was a sign in the room offering reimbursement for each day you opted not to have housekeeping during the weekend. This was the first time I’d seen a hotel share savings directly with guests. Usually, I request housekeeping because it’s part of the room charge, but this approach completely changed my perspective. It felt like the hotel genuinely valued its guests. When it came time to leave, I felt like I was leaving home. I even inquired if there were other locations of The Business Inn, as I frequently travel to Quebec, but learned this is a family-owned, standalone property. Despite some areas that could use upgrades, the overall experience was incredibly pleasant. This hotel was an unexpected gem, and I’ll absolutely be back. I’m already looking for another reason to return to Ottawa.

Great stay! I wish I had known about the Business Inn when I used to travel to Ottawa for work. During a vacation in early October, our group of seven friends in four rooms had a great 5 night stay at the Business Inn. While the building is a little bit dated, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the staff is excellent. The large dining tables allowed us to pick up food each night from one of the many nearby restaurants, and eat together in one of our rooms (almost like being at home!). The hotel location is very good, within walking distance of most of the sights we wanted to see. It was nice to have a business centre in the room, plus a gym and free laundry service. And in contrast to complimentary breakfasts at other hotels, which generally seem like an inconvenience they feel obligated to put on, the breakfast at the Business Inn was great, with many food choices. Perhaps the only suggestion I have for improvement is that it would be nice if each room had a safe. Thanks, and we will be back if ever in Ottawa again.

Four of us stayed in two apartments for the weekend. Both units were ***spotless***, clean, huge and quiet. The amenities are long to list but we really appreciated having a full kitchen, cable tv and comfortable couches to lounge on. Four adults fit in both rooms to hang out with more than enough room. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the location. Cheap parking ($20 per night) on-site. Dove products for the shower 🙌 This was cheaper than renting an Airbnb and we felt it was a lot more convenient and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. We will absolutely stay here every time we're in Ottawa moving forward.
