Had such a great experience of wine tasting and lunch at Swanson Vineyards! Beautiful place! Pleasant and friendly personal! Our host Nancy was the most amazing! Definitely recommend and will come back soon! 🍷🍇🌿

Boutique winery, very quiet by appointment only. Serving in outside New Orleans's style garden. $40 was a little pricey for a wine flight tasting. Wines by the glass much more reasonable.

Upon arrival, I am reminded of a small village home in France. The garden is vibrant with seasonal flowers and if you look closer, there are some hidden vegetables as well. Now let’s get to the wine! Swanson features an excellent representation of almost every varietal with my favorite being the Face Cabernet Sauvignon. The warm hospitality here makes me feel like a welcomed guest rather than privileged to be allowed through their gate. I felt very safe with the spacious outdoor seating and am looking forward to returning for the next wine club event included with my new membership!

This was my first time to Swanson Vineyards and I'll definitely be back soon! The experience was absolutely delightful the service was excellent - Sarah was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines. My favorites were the Alexis and the Merlot, but the Rose is perfect for summer! Will definitely recommend this winery to my friends!

We had a wonderful time at our wine tasting! The scenery was beautiful and the wine was even better. We arrived a bit late and the entire staff was very accommodating. I’ll recommend this winery to anyone visiting Napa.

Harry was very helpful and knew a lot about the history of Napa, of the winery and each product we tasted. We like the quiet setup with the view on the mountain, without noisy group that you’ll find in bigger wineries.

We enjoyed a tasting at the Swanson pop-up a couple of weeks back. The venue is stellar and it’s an easy bike ride down the Napa River bike path from Calistoga. While the patio, vineyards and wine are stellar, what we remember even more so is the wit and wisdom of Sarah Dennis, the tasting room manager, who not only welcomed four bike riding wine tasters, but encouraged our journeys with historical references and present day reflections. And, well our previously non-existent knowledge of Swanson Vineyards blossomed. She asked us why we chose to visit. We responded truthfully: Never heard of you before. But, you are an easy bike ride from Calistoga- and well we’ve visited all these other wineries and vineyards before - so well here we are. Yes, we were lucky. If you are reading this review, your research and homework skills clearly exceed ours. Well done. But luck aside, we’d encourage you to visit. Perhaps you’ll even get to meet Sarah. And oh, here’s our final answer on the taste it, buy it, you only get one Swanson wine for this island hypothetical: it’s the Petite Sirah.
