Well the rooms are pretty small but managable if one is on a budget trip as space is one of the key concerns in Singapore ! Location is good , located on Bencoolen road. We did not use the transit so do not know about the hotel’s proximity to the nearest metro or bus station. Breakfast was no good so we only took it once !

I want to be objective but it was a bit of a shock coming from one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a while to here. To be clear - there is nothing wrong with this hotel. But it is very deficient in the style category so if that's important to you, take note. Otherwise if the price point is good for you you'll have all the basics necessary for your stay. Check-in was easy (with advance reservation) and staff was courteous, professional and efficient. There's a small on-site cafe but plenty of other food options in walking distance. Elevators as well as stair access to upper floors. The layout of the floors (I was on the 5th) was more complicated than usual and I headed in the wrong direction multiple times during my 24-hour stay. Thankfully there's good signage and if you trust it you'll be just fine. The room is completely and jarringly white. No color, no decor of any kind. The feel is very clinical, or like wandering onto a movie set of a generic hospital room. Everything was fine, it was just all white (with the exception of the TV). Blackout curtains. In-room safe. Bed linens were crisp and clean but the pillows were very lumpy and hard. Bathroom was very clean and had one of the best-fitting shower door enclosures I've seen in a while - your bathroom will stay dry! Basic toiletries included. Towels are well-used but clean. What surprised me was the generous snack & beverage options in the room. Two small bottled waters (though Singaporean tap water is safe to drink), tea & coffee service, and then a variety of snacks including chips and pop mie. All complimentary. A very nice touch in an otherwise rather barebones room and experience. Location is great and you're close to MRT options that can get you anywhere on the island in a matter of minutes. Plenty of Grab rides and taxis as well. This is a solid but basic hotel. Recommended with that plainness as the only caveat.

This is probably the Worst hotel in Singapore that I haves stayed in . Horrible customer service when I first walked in the Elevator it smelled like dirty Indian people That never took bath or shower. My room had dirty towels. I had to get it replaced, but the Customer service wasn’t Trying to give me towels and started being rude to me.. the Air conditioning for my room did not work. The maintenance man did not know what to do with the Air conditioner. He ended up leaving without saying nothing …and the room also smell very bad we ended up booking other hotel I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone . To my fellow Chinese people DONT NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL !!!

Is very terrible experience in summer view hotel, special is on 17/9)24 - 11am on duty the 2 Indian girls , My sister is staying this hotel in 5days , im with husband went there telling the staff we want going up visit my sister, they ask me the ID we definitely understand, and the Indian lady staff still need my sister coming down to bring me up?????!!! Im totally not understand, Make things worse??? Why not just scan the card to let me up???Or is it that his IQ is only capable of doing this?

The counter staff's attitude was poor, and one Indian staff member was particularly arrogant. The remaining one star is for the staff who were good and actively resolved issues.
