Stone Brewing

This was my second visit to Stone Brewing and, like the first, it did not disappoint! We had reservations but arrived about 30 minutes early. The place was absolutely packed as there was a game and everyone was hanging out watching the game. Somehow we found a couple seats at the bar and the team was phenomenal! As busy as they were they took the time to chat when they could and kept the beers coming! We actually went past our reservation time since we were having such a great time but when we finally got seated outside the service kept going. The entire team was friendly and attentive. Yes, you’re under the flight path for San Diego but that didn’t bother us at all… When I was here a couple years prior, there was an opossum wandering around and this time there was a fart squirrel, which made the visit both hilarious and entertaining! Some people were a little alarmed but as long as you don’t bother the creatures, they won’t bother you! To complement our beers we had the Bavarian Pretzel, Fish & Chips & the Flight of Tacos… All of it was great! Definitely a place we’ll return to again!

Just arrived in San Diego and looking for a fun place to enjoy dinner but we wanted to get out of the crowds so headed toward w Liberty Station. Stone Brewing was busy but they have a large open seating area in the back that worked out great. They also have a great online ordering system that we used in conjunction with our waiter that worked out great. He was very helpful and the system allowed us to put in additional orders in without having to wait at all. The service was very efficient and we enjoyed for food very much. We will definitely be back.

This location was amazing for so many reasons. It was not crowded at all in the inside bar and our two bartenders were amazing. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and the grits came out cold. Our bartender immediately took them back to the kitchen and within 30 seconds the manager,Megan, was right at her side, asking what she could do to make it better. They comped the entire meal and gave her a new hot one. Reasonable prices, great beer, excellent venue. I highly recommend.

VERY LOUD HERE with AIRPLANES FLYING OVERHEAD every 20 minutes, and it is VERY BUSY which makes it even louder. It is pricey, too, as all Stone Brewing places are. It is beautiful here, inside and outside seating, accessible entrances and exits, seating, and bathrooms. The food and drinks were good! I loved the chocolate cake dessert, also. My servers were super friendly and attentive!

I recently visited Stone Brewing and had an excellent experience. This brewery offers a wide variety of beer options, all complemented by a natural stone vibe that creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. The large seating area, including outdoor options and event spaces, resembles early period barracks, adding to the charm. The food was good, and the service was efficient, with the convenient option to order from your phone and pay directly. The Japanese garden setup outdoors was a delightful spot to sit with friends and enjoy the ambience. Overall, Stone Brewing is an excellent place to visit, offering great beer, food, and a wonderful atmosphere.

We ate breakfast here and had a beer. The breakfast was tasty for an airport establishment. It didn't look appealing, but actually tasted good. The best part was the Mexican Lager that an employee said was there favorite. It was delicious! Maybe the best beer I've ever had!

Super pleased with this airport food as you typically don’t expect good quality, and certainly not for a reasonable price, but this far exceeded my expectations and I look forward to going back. The fish tacos were perfect, flavorful, juicy, and the up charge side of guac was a perfect match for hint of spice from the side sauce. Upgraded my chips to a side salad, the mixed greens with beautiful fresh strawberries, and blackberries on top along with candied spiced cashews. It was amazingly flavorful and very healthy.

A fish dish in San Diego ought to be flavorsome. It was not. Tinned fish has better flavor and smell than the fish dishes we had. Beer was flat.

Not bad for an airport restaurant. Had breakfast here...ordered the breakfast burrito...very filling. My wife got the Chilaquiles...came with scramble eggs on top instead of over easy, but it was good and flavourful. You order at the bar, grab a number and find your seat. Place very clean.

They had a nice selection of craft beers, even if none were a home run. I didn't eat, but sat at the bar near the kitchen window and the food coming out looked great, and the servers were working with the kitchen well to see that orders went out exactly as requested (I definitely heard some strange requests). The overall place is very nice and comfortable with TVs to watch whatever big game is on. This is head and shoulders better than most airport experiences; definitely a reasonable place to settle in if you have to be in the airport.
