SpeedBot

I have used SpeedBot's algo trading software and found is incredibly helpful for my trading goals. I have done a consultation with them for a custom algo trading strategies and they are superbly responsive in that. Had a great experience!

Speedbot is great for trading. It's easy to use and helps me create and test my trading strategies quickly.

Avoid Speedbot for any custom algos! I paid 9k, got junk code. Sent 32 emails, followed up for 1 month and finally gave up! I was looking for an alternative platform to TT and came across speedboat. The primary challenge in Speedbot is that we cannot code anything, we need to reach out to their team for any algos. And they charge premium, they charged 18k for custom algo, 50% advance and balance after completion. I have a very simple strategy. I decided to give it a try, and gave a detailed description of my strategy along with example (it’s a very very simple strategy). After taking 20 days to code simple strategy, they have given junk code with back testing results, strategy is clueless, hedge legs enters after sell leg (they have missed basic of Option selling!),takes position in next week expiry and saw many more issues! Sales has no clue, when I raised issue after 1st day of paper trade he asked me to raise a ticket, when strategy itself is not working what ticket to raise? Worst, Sales folks no. is never reachable and they ignore Whatsapp message, Post 1st day of paper trade, A Senior Executive informed me that he will look at the issue personally and is working on fixing the issue. After another 10 days, I was given updated strategy which again had same issue – Now, I was part of their testing team. Mails went unanswered. Finally I requested for refund, I was told as per policy they will not refund the money. If you are ready to lose 9k and 500 rs for 1 month subscription fee to test it on paper then give it a try. (Beware, don’t take risk of deploying live money). They may provide good service for big players, small players are not their priority I had coded this strategy myself in TT, I could modify it when needed, start/pause when needed, I could check the logs, etc in TT. None of these features are available in Speedbot. No proper help to identify the error, check logs, etc. Think before you step into speedbot, it has a very long way to go.

I lost money because of the Speedbot. I couldn't pause and delay the start time of the strategy, even though I knew the market would fall. We don't have the option to start or pause the strategy. also, I had to pay lot of money to get a custom logo. For every small change I have to raise request, support is very bad.
