South Lawn Hotel

We've stayed a few times at South Lawn Hotel and have always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and very well equipped with a hairdryer, fridge, tea/coffee facilities and kettle and an ironing board and iron. The staff are efficient and very friendly. It is extremely dog friendly with a paddock for exercise and lots of walks nearby. Milford on Sea is an excellent base for exploring the New Forest or travelling further afield. We have just returned from our second Christmas break; it was excellent. The food was lovely and the service second to none and we were entertained by "Elton" during Boxing night. We've already booked another stay for the end of January and will be booking again for next Christmas. All hotels should be like this!

We had an amazing two night stay in November and cannot recommend this place high enough. Rooms were large, spacious and very clean and comfortable. Food was so good - we had a steak dinner one night and a roast the next day. The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely go back!

Along with 36 colleagues we had a wonderful Christmas lunch here yesterday. The service was excellent, but most importantly the food was outstanding, full of flavour, beautifully presented and very enjoyable . The staff were both very efficient whilst being friendly and very professional . I couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend. Thank you for an excellent Christmas gathering👍😊

Rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely bar area for pre-dinner drinks. Restaurant served delicious food, well priced too! We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

Ideal spot for a dog-friendly break. We had a lovely three night stay at the South Lawn Hotel with our dog. Large room with plenty of space, excellent breakfast and dinners, friendly and helpful staff, and a great location to head down to the coast or into the forest. There was a nice welcome pack for the dog, and an enclosed paddock for exercise.
