Souper Salad

It's been years since I have been to a Souper Salad, this one was better than what I remembered. Salad bar was great! great variety, fresh ingredients, and the soup was really good too. The staff was awesome, our waitress kept making sure everything was ok and taking our plates. They kept the whole place very clean which is huge. I wish they had more Souper Salads in Houston.

Our visit was souper impressive! Great salad bar, good soup, very fast friendly service, all around great! I appreciate there was both thousand Island and French dressing. Baked potato soup was great - was half expecting a watered down slop, but it was fantastic. I wish there was one in my neighborhood!

Ahhh!! I finally had the opportunity to come to Texas and stopping by here was one of the top places I needed to go to before I left. The Souper!Salad! in my local area went out of business several years ago and I haven’t been able to enjoy it since. Coming here sparked a lot of amazing memories for me. Everything is just as I remember it The staff were super nice and food was amazing! HIGHLY recommend the Twice Baked Potato Soup and the banana pudding! All the ingredients looked great and the ones I got tasted amazing! I can’t express into enough words how great my experience was and how satisfied I am with coming here! Highly recommend stopping by when in the area!

On a business trip & Had a nostalgic moment from college when we could fill up on healthy food for a reasonable price! I wanted salad, saw this place and ear marked it to circle back the next day. The service was friendly and fast - mostly self serve but the cashier is at the entrance to collect payment first thing upon entry before making your entree choices. My male waiter was fast, attentive, and friendly. He brought my drink order right away & whisked away my tray and soup bowl when he saw they were empty. The menu has expanded since I’ve seen a Souper Salad. They have a full self served opened buffet style salad bar & soup bar. They also now have a taco bat, potato bar, dessert bar, and pizza. I had the salad 🥗 and soup. Why is the vegetable soup sweet? I also tried the gingerbread squares I remembered from back in the day. The soft, melt in your mouth individually cut cake squares are now square muffins that were either out too long or overbaked. I only took a bite before concluding the extra calories weren’t worth an extra bite. A nice alternative for the many options out there that are nutritionally worse. Fresh, convenient, still budget friendly and good service. Clean restaurant. Food options stay fully stocked with the hot items hot and the chilled items fresh from what I could tell. A nice trip down memory lane.

Had the opportunity to meet the owner of Souper Salad a couple of weeks ago. What a nice person. My only regret is I don't live closer to go buy a few times a week at this restaurant. See you the next time I'm in town for some more fun and incredible food.

It's so hard to find a good salad bar/buffet these days, and when you do it's usually one aspect of another type of restaurant or all you can eat buffet....

Glad we found another salad buffet place to enjoy. Nice selection to build the salad of your dreams. Good selection of soups. Leave the pizza for the kids....

I loved the turkey-holiday soup, and our waitress. Perhaps people should be encouraged to tour the bar before moving directly into line at the salad portion of the bar? The taco bar was appreciated, but the processed cheeses and multiple breads were less exciting than the soup and service.

Sometimes, the salads at "salad bars" are not too fresh and full of hard hearts of lettuce. Not so with this visit to Souper Salad at Lamar and Ben White. The salad and all the trimmings looked and tasted fresh and delicious. The shortbread cake chunks were great with the strawberry topping and whip cream. I was also pleasantly surprised by a great broccoli and cheese soup. Good this most of the ffod was low cal, because I ate too much.

If you are on a diet or new 'life style' you can CHOOSE to eat right at Souper Salad. In 4 months time I have lost a bunch of weight eating here. And I never leave hungry. Great soups to choose from, make your own salad with all the fixins. Clean, healthy and 'it works.'

We have been to this place several times. You get a giant salad bar, 4 different soups, baked regular and sweet potatoes with all the toppings, hot breads, pizza, all the trimmings for nachos, and ending with ice cream with all the toppings. There are soft drinks also. A lady who ran the cashier location, bussed tables, made sure everything was working well, and did it all with a smile and talking to us all. A super star lady!

This restaurant had one of the largest soup and salad bars I've seen. They also had several desserts that were good as well. Service was nice.
