Service was good, place was very busy on a Saturday night. Took 20 minutes to get a table and over an hour for food to arrive. The Lobo Burger was delicious.

Visiting family in this college town , went to brew house for casual dinner with friends , nice atmosphere and friendly staff . Had some appetizers, cold and salty, hot sandwiches and fries ,similarly cold salty and sauce saturated, just awful

We ate here after church on a Sunday. Food is very good. Atmosphere is fine for college town. I do like that they have several tv's to watch whatever sports you like.

We were at the Gaslight Brewhouse about 12 noon for lunch on a Sunday. The place is huge so even though there was a fair amount of people, we were seated easily. The food was very good and the service was efficient and friendly. All 6 of us had different dishes, and each of us enjoyed our food. We will definitely return to the Gaslight Brewhouse.

Scotty's Brewhouse is now known as Gas Light Brewhouse and is independent of its former chain which entered bankruptcy. That said the menu remains largely the same but is slowly being tweaked. Consistent with others' reviews, service and food quality (especially temperature) have been hit or miss. The restaurant has a new GM, and a training program for staff. Bottom line, the service and food quality has improved. They have also added quality cuts of steaks (Sirloin and Rib Eye) to the menu so give them a try on Wednesdays when steaks are discounted. The restaurant is very new and has a great selection of beer, food offerings coupled with 22 large screen TVs and many additional smaller ones at many booths. Oxford needs improved restaurants and culinary diversity so let's hope Gas Light's upward trend continues.
