The Hero Doctor: Dr. Dalia is an incredible doctor and a wonderful person. She walked with me through every step of my journey to the birth of our beautiful baby. Despite the challenges we faced, she always reassured me that everything would be okay. Her dedication went above and beyond, she was never tired of responding to my calls or messages whenever I have questions,she even checked on us during her days off and after her working hours to ensure both the baby and I were doing well. To the entire team in the maternity ward and NICU, thank you for taking such great care of us. We are truly grateful for your kindness, professionalism, and support. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and friendly, making this experience as comforting as possible. 3 weeks in NICU and finally time came to bring our baby home .Thank you all for being part of our story .

I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. I came with my 21-month-old baby to check a concerning allergy on her leg, along with my wife, who is 33 weeks pregnant. Our appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM, but we arrived at 2:20 PM after struggling to find the dermatology area. When we approached the staff to confirm our appointment, they couldn’t find any record of it in the system. Instead of helping, they ignored my wife’s questions and directed us to scan a QR code to book the appointment ourselves. Once we finally managed to make the appointment, we asked how long the wait would be but were ignored again and just told to sit. Although we were called in quickly, the experience with the doctor Majd Elden was equally frustrating. He ask just one question, barely examined the allergy, and when we asked what it could be, he simply said he couldn’t tell and couldn’t perform any tests because our baby is too young. He prescribed two creams without much explanation, advising one in the morning and one in the evening. When I read the creams at home, I found that one (Peitel) isn’t recommended for children under two years, and the other (Elidel) shouldn’t be combined with other creams. The entire appointment lasted barely three minutes, and we left feeling ignored, rushed, and unsure about the treatment prescribed for our child. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience, and I hope the hospital will take steps to improve patient care and communication.”

Exceptional and professional approach. Everything I needed was given immediately. I just got discharged yesterday (room 314) and I'd like to thanks SGD for taking care of me since day 1. I would like to commend my nurse as well named Aayushma shah. She's very kind, helpful and gentle with me all through out. She indeed deserve a raise!!

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care and compassion my wife and I received during our recent experience at Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Dubai. Our baby was born prematurely at 27 weeks, and the emergency caesarean section was a life-changing event. From the moment we arrived, the Labor Ward and Gynecology staff provided exceptional care and support during the emergency procedure. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to: - Dr. Shahila and Dr. Lina, the gynecologist specialists, for their outstanding professionalism and expertise. - Dr. Mohammed Sheta, the neonatologist, for his tireless efforts and dedication to our baby's care in the NICU. - The entire NICU team, who provided meticulous and compassionate care to our baby for 50 days. The nursing staff at SGH Dubai are truly the unsung heroes. Their emotional support, kindness, and care helped us cope with the stress and uncertainty. Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each department at SGH Dubai for their exceptional care, support, and teamwork. Thank you for helping us bring our baby home healthy and happy.

My experience with Saudi German has changed drastically over the years, reaching a point where I'm compelled to consider other options, even though the doctors are excellent. 1. Appointments, whether for consultations, labs, or radiology, now come with extended waiting times. Despite arriving 10 minutes early, it often takes nearly an hour to finally be seen. 2. The pharmacy has an unusual process: after waiting a significant amount of time for your token to be called, you may then be told the medication is out of stock. 3. Recently, an automatic insurance approval system was implemented for all prescriptions without consulting patients on whether they prefer to pick up medications from the in-house pharmacy. Previously, we could order from other pharmacies, like Life Pharmacy, which offered quicker responses and faster delivery. There’s no option to disable this auto-approval. 4. The pharmacy approves medications without notifying patients or ensuring timely delivery. My pregnant wife, who also has diabetes, was prescribed a new type of insulin. As we were running low, we expected it within a day. However, after calling six times—each with a 20-40 minute wait—there were still delays. One operator claimed the medicine was en route; hours later, another said they’d arrange delivery after manager approval. Clearly, there's a lack of coordination. Eventually, we still didn’t receive it on time. In another instance, the pharmacy approved medications without asking for delivery details, despite the urgency. 5. Recently, our doctor prescribed medications because our stock was about to ran out, which the pharmacy approved with insurance. Yet, we received no updates for an entire day. After another long wait, an operator told us only one of the medicines was approved and the rest was not, and asked if we wanted to schedule a delivery. Literally a day later. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed in the services. We’re compelled to endure this due to our commitment to our current doctor throughout the pregnancy, but I hope others find this information helpful in making informed decisions.
