Robinette's apple haus & winery customer reviews

I absolutely love this place! Not only does it have the best donuts around that are warm and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cookies I recently tried were amazing too! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, the activities are fun for everyone, apple picking is fun (first time I ever apple picked was here!), the store is also cute with a lot of local items. Also, the winery is amazing and you can also do wine tasting! This is definitely a family staple around West MI and a must go to!

I was told that Robinette’s was THE cider mill out on the West Side of the state and it did not disappoint. I was talked into trying both a cinnamon sugar and pumpkin spice donut and both were good. To be honest, I’m not too big of a pumpkin/pumpkin spice fan, but, the donut had a very subtle flavor which didn’t even taste that pumpkin like. If I was given the pumpkin spice donut without being told what it was, I’d probably just assume it’s a regular cinnamon sugar donut. Overall, cool place and good vibes!

There shops have nice things. Donuts always great. Corn maze was good. Halfway bench might be nice. Winery part is nice but the pours are too small for the wine tasting.

Went there for the first time to celebrate our year & a half anniversary. The donuts & cider were so good! Super affordable too. We wanted to get to apple picking but we will do that next year. The horse wagon ride was beautiful seeing the apple orchards and forest scenery. They have a lot to do and the gift shop is amazing. Will definitely be back! 🫶🏽

One of the best orchards ever. have been coming here since I was little, and it always reminds me of home. It brings a sense of nostalgia to me. It’s an honor to be able to bring my baby here now and start a new family tradition. They have yummy wine, delicious donuts, the cutest photo opps, and a family friendly corn maze. Although I live an hour and a half from here now, I always make it a priority to visit every year. Thank you Robinettes for all the memories!

This place has been on my radar for years and we finally made it - and so did everyone else! It is a very popular place for families in the fall. We were just there for the wine tasting. We selected our five wines, which we were able to keep the glass. The wines were al delicious, so we purchased a bottle as well, which was very inexpensive.

This place is a local icon known for its pumpkin spice donuts and its wonderful apple cider. Don’t let the cost of the cider deter you. It’s more expensive than at the store probably twice as more but it is well worth it. We’ve been going here for over 30 years. On November 18 22. We entered the store at about 11 am. When we walked in there was a lady walking away from the counter who turned and looked at us and then went upstairs. She was talking and laughing with another lady upstairs for over 15 minutes while we were waiting at the counter. I rang the bell for assistance and she came down the stairs, obviously annoyed, and she was extremely rude and said, “can I help you”, but said it in a very condescending and rude way. My family and I will never return to this place because of this.

I tried the wine tasting experience and left with 3 bottles. The Chocolate Mint was yummy but will no longer carried once the existing supply is sold. I also got the Robin Red, Cranberry and Cider Spices to make a warm mulled drink. These will be perfect for the holidays. The staff were helpful and friendly! There were a few different shops on site - definitely worth the visit.

We enjoyed our visit. We waited in a loooong line for cider and donuts. It seems like this could be improved. There were times that the line was held up by people waiting on drinks, while no one was at the case getting donuts. I think it took us about 30 minutes to get to the counter with much of that time waiting outside. The weather was ok so it wasn't a big deal. The donuts were delicious. We also purchased some apple butter in the store and it was also very good. My husband and I did the wine tasting and it was fun. Our server was really nice and offered some great suggestions. We ended up buying two bottles to take home, and we got to keep our tasting glasses too! We finished up at the corn maze. We have never done a corn maze so I can't say whether this is typical, but there's not really a way to "get lost." Also, they gave us a paper with trivia questions and at certain numbered spots you'd answer the trivia question to figure out which way to go. That was cute. There was also an exit halfway through in case you got tired. I'm sure that is helpful if you have small kids who are just over it. This was a great experience overall. We spent about half the day there. I would recommend to others visiting the area, especially during the fall.
