Roam Artisan Burgers

Roam is a fantastic burger restaurant that left a great impression on me. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the inviting atmosphere, which blends a modern design with a cozy vibe. The menu is impressive, featuring a variety of gourmet burgers made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I tried the Classic Burger, which was cooked to perfection, and the Heritage Burger, which was uniquely flavorful. The truffle fries were a standout side, adding a perfect touch to the meal. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff making the experience even better. Roam is a must-visit for anyone who loves burgers and is looking for a top-notch dining experience.

All bun, no fun! Warning to my fellow burger-lovers: this place ain't for you. The menu is pretentious and confusing--all that "artisanal" yada yada. Rather than wade through the jargon, I opted for the "Classic," which has beef, lettuce, tomato, pickles and special sauce. $12.50 base price plus another $2.50 for cheese and extra pickles. Now, it never specified how much meat you get for this exorbitant amount of money but I expected more than the thin slab that I received. Also, I only counted 2 pickle slices. They're the only burger joint in the history of burger joints to actually charge money for extra pickles (which is a questionable business practice already), and then they leave you high and pickle-dry! Please, if you value your hard-earned money and/or respect the art of burger-craft, stay away from this place. It's the absolute pits.

Really good burger place near Japantown. Good vegetarian options for the Burger as well. Any burger you can replace with vegetarian option. All the burger options are good especially Fries fry Burger option is good.

I ordered two burgers: one Classic and one with mushrooms for two different people. However, the labels on the burgers were switched. As a result, the person who ordered the Classic burger started eating without realizing it had mushrooms in it. Unfortunately, they are allergic to mushrooms, and this caused a serious issue. The person who specifically wanted the mushroom burger was left with the Classic one, which they didn’t want. This mix-up not only caused confusion but also posed a health risk.

We came here for dinner and had a fantastic meal. We ordered 2 root beers, a fry-fecta, and the Heritage, Sunny Side, and Chalet bison burgers. This place offers the best burger we’ve ever had at an excellent price, and we come here every time we’re in the San Francisco area. We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and we will definitely keep coming back!
