We have been trying to get power assist wheels for our wheelchair for 2 years!!! I've called 100's of times now and can't get past the answering service, they call them service agents. Ha! They ask my need and say they will have someone call me within 2 days. It is now 2 years!!! No one has ever called back! I call almost every day! They are very rude and condescending on the phone! Also, I paid thousands of dollars for the type of wheelchair they insisted I needed for power assist wheels which they won't sell me! I can't even speak with a sales person!

Our interactions prior to actually receiving my chair (with Joshi), as well as any interaction with Marvin, were wonderful. Truly, the only reason I haven’t outright given up on this company is because of Marvin. That being said - one of my leg rests broke last summer (June or July, I think). It still hasn’t been replaced, and the part was never ordered. Because it takes so long to get Marvin out (he’s the only person we’ve seen since receiving the chair in November 2021, and he is a wonderfully kind and caring person), by the time we were able to get him to come back out the first ticket had been cancelled and we had to start the process over again. Not that we were ever advised of this. This time, it’s two leg rests / foot rests (one from each set, and opposite sides so we can’t just use one from each), the back of my seat, my headrest, and I think at least one more issue. It’s been six weeks since Marvin came by, and they still haven’t gotten whatever they need with my insurance. Two weeks ago I was told that someone spent an hour on hold trying to help me so I had to be patient. That if I wanted to expedite the process, I could pay for everything out of pocket which was an astronomical expense. That I should just use my broken footrest, which keeps slipping and then drags on the ground. No care at all for how this impacts me, who is reliant on my wheelchair. That the insurance process was delayed by a at least a month because they needed a form from my doctor in order to get the insurance to pay for the repairs and parts, which delayed the process by at least a month. This past week I find out that they haven’t even ordered the parts needed. I spent the whole call with them this week crying… my wheelchair is a part of me. It allows me to do things I can no longer do on my own. It protects me from serious injury. Would this be acceptable if it were viewed as a prosthetic, or even a transplanted body part?

My husband's motorized wheelchair took 4 months to be delivered. The headrest fell off the first week he had it. The wheelchair does not fit him, It exerts a great deal of pressure into his left leg. The chair has flipped him out onto the floor on one occasion. The fire department had to come to get him back into the chair. The chair has his center of gravity too far forward. He was almost flipped out of the chair 3 times before he had the episode of landing on the floor. No one has made any effort to correct the problems with the chair. Needless to say he rarely uses the chair. I am going to call Medicare to see if they can intervene or if the poor service constitutes Medicare fraud. A couple of months ago the armrest with the controls fell off so now the chair is not usable. Medicare has shown no interest in intervening to see that the chair's problems are corrected and Rehab Medical knows that nothing will be done. So now my husband has no usable wheelchair and a new one can't be ordered for another five years. Both leg rests on the chair were not functional. One has been repaired but the other one has not been. With the chair's history four problems it is safe to say the chair was defective initially. Rehab Medical has not indicated what they plan to do next but in the meantime my husband has not had an adequate wheelchair for the last 16 months thanks to Rehab Medical. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau and Rehab Medical responded that they intended to make the repairs but months go by and little gets done.

The representative that. Delivered the wheelchair was knowledgeable and responsive. You need a website video for people to review the features of the wheelchair. The wheelchair break malfunction in week two. The good news is You responded promptly. I do not like that the brake handle is so far out. We keep running in to other obstacles.. figure out a way to adjust the breaks on each side so that they're not an obstacle.

My husband was "fitted for a power chair" by Jason, who works for this company. A chair was ordered and delivered to our house. No ability to try it or see it first. My husband has MS and has had a recent stroke. The chair is completely wrong for him. He can not use it in our home outside of one room. He can not use our handicapped van with the chair because it is too heavy for the lift. A rep from the company was present when we tried it. He blamed our lift. We have since had the lift serviced....surprise, the chair still pops the fuse. The seat cushion throws my husband into a spasms because of the tilt that it has. We have tried continually to reach this company. See reviews above....same NO RESPONSE. Now we are stuck with a useless chair and forced back to a three wheeled scooter. He has fallen out of this three times since our power chair purchase. One of those requiring an ER visit. NOT HELPFUL!! Update: We have been in touch with Kevin and Terry from this company....still waiting on results,but I will update as we get them. Update: 1/19/2019. Exchanging emails and phone calls. Still waiting for results. They have zeroed a pending bill we didn't know we would owe. :) Update: 1/23/2019. After a call today, a company rep has stated that they will be taking the chair back. They told my husband they will refund Medicare and get us a refund as well. I will update when that happens. Update: 1/28/2019- They have come and picked up the chair today!! Yea!! Step one...now to wait for our "full refund". I will update when that happens. Update: 2/6/2019-Still no refund......Hmmmmm. Will update when I get it. 2/14/2019- Full refund received today. Thank you to Terry and Kevin from Rehab medical for their help with this. We have also gone ahead and purchased another power chair from a company called KD chairs. Look them up...so far so good.
