We enjoyed their raspberry hot chocolate & some drinks. It is a popular chain in North Carolina. A nice place to enjoy drinks!

10 out of 10. Stop for some coffee while we were in town and it was delicious. Came back for lunch for more coffee lol. Staff was friendly and polite and coffee was hot and fresh.

My wife and I visited this Port City Java location on Sunday for breakfast to relax and then head off to do some early morning shopping. She had their breakfast tea and I had a coffee. Plus we both ordered their Everything Bagels with cream cheese. The coffee and tea were both good as were the bagels. The staff is also very friendly and polite and the atmosphere inside is very laid back and relaxing....We would both recommend this Port City Java location.

In Wilmington looking for a new home, we went looking for a good cup of coffee. My wife spotted the Port City Java from the street and off we went. We later learned that there are several of these coffee spots around Wilmington, which we confirmed in our travels about town. The coffee did not disappoint and was certainly comparable to the best either Panera or Starbucks could provide. The set-up is very reminiscent of Starbucks - place your order here, pick it up there. It's pastry display was also reminiscent of Starbucks, i.e. abysmal at least in appearance. We didn't choose to make a pastry purchase so we can't say with absolute certainty that the pastry wouldn't rock your world, but it didn't appear to be earth shattering. We frequent Panera often and enjoy their pastry on a regular basis. So, Port City Java compares favorably to both Panera and Starbucks for different reasons. If you would prefer to support local vs. a national chain then Port City Java is right up your alley.

This one is perfect for meetings or visit with friends. They have a good choice of tea. I like that the tables are not on top of each other so you can have a private conversation.
