Plastiq

A lot of recent negative experiences, which may be valid, but I did want to highlight positive experience as well. I had sent a check to an already irritated landlord who claimed it didn't arrive on the day that I had expedited. It was frustrating that there was no number to call and seemingly an empty customer service submission. They did email back within 24 hours and provided me with the tracking number, so I am thankful for that. The issue was not with Plastiq but rather UPS Next Day who stuffed it somewhere that regular UPS does not put. I also had a couple of follow-up customer service questions that they answered sufficiently.

You should have a suggestion box on your website. We shouldnt have to google you to write you a suggestion. You should allow nickname for vendors. If I pay my hydro, my parent's hydro. It gets confusing selecting the vendor as they all say the exact same name. If I can nickname mine as "home hydro" and the other as "mom hydro" I can select the right account easily.

I paid over $400 to expedite $12880 via ACH, which plastiq promised would arrive by 12/31. The funds have been charged to my cards, but my supplier still has not received the $12,880. Now, I have to file disputes and waste my time due to negligence on their end. Avoid this company like the plague.

Plastiq used to be a good service that lets individuals and businesses use debit or credit cards to pay vendors that don't otherwise accept those payment methods, but their fees keep increasing. Now it's not cost effective to use their service anymore. Also, AMEX is no longer accepted. Less choices and higher cost is not a good business model.

Tried to use this service twice and both times were so damn frustrating and no money got transferred to intended recipients. Instead the funds just got held on their end. Worst part of it is they don't have any phone support and you have to wait for an email from them. Both tines I ended up just using melio payments, which I didn't have nay issues at all.
