Nice chill cafe in the heartlands. I like the "Walter Mitty" type dreamy song playlist, which is especially comforting on a Sunday morning. The lavender cake has a prominent lavender flavour, which I have not found elsewhere. Coffee is faultless, and l enjoyed the moist and warm carrot walnut cake too.

🥥 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 - $6⁣ I’m a sucker for coconut lattes because I love the coconut aroma and this was easily one of the best I’ve had! The latte itself was aromatic, with a hint of coffee, and the latte had a very smooth mouthfeel! We did also let the latte sit for a while but the foam held up well as it didn’t form big bubbles like most of the other lattes we’ve had. I’d totally come back next time to try their regular latte⁣ ⁣ 🖤 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 - $9⁣ My partner got the Montserrat Alfaro Gordilo beans from Mexico that had notes of prune, chamomile and walnut. The prune notes were definitely the most prominent, and this coffee was more on the acidic side which isn’t my most favourite, but my partner enjoyed it! Plus, it was quite a reasonable price for filter coffee ⁣ ⁣ 🍋 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 - $8⁣ We learned that all the bakes were from Sarah’s Loft and boyyyy they were good! This pistachio cake was moist, fluffy and had a significant amount of pistachio chunks in it. Quite on par, if not better, than the ones we had at The Better Half. We also enjoyed the lemon glaze on top as it had the right amount of tartness ⁣ ⁣ 🥜 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 - $8⁣ Moist banana cake with a generous amount of chocolate within it, with a light peanut butter cream on top. If the PB cream was any stronger, the entire cake would have been too decadent to finish. There also seemed to be a chocolate caramel drizzle in the middle of the cream which was a bit much for me, but my partner liked it. ⁣ They do carry a lot of curated coffee-related products, from grinders and filter papers to drippers and coffee machines, it’s a great place to check out if you wanna get your own coffee set up. We do see ourselves returning more often too since everything’s really good here⁣

It was easy to find. Cozy place but has good range of food and drink. Price was really reasonable. Not sure if they have wifi but the table is big enough to use my laptop. Wanna visit again to try their cup cakes. It is near bedok library

Excellent service from the staff. They arranged for a candle to help us celebrate our friend’s birthday and helped us to take pictures. The place was cosy and nice. Coffee and hot chocolate were nice with latte art on top. They also warmed up the almond croissant that we ordered. The earl grey lavender cake, Yuzu lemon and chocolate hazelnut cakes were very pretty

THE BANANA LOAF is a showstopper. I was initially skeptical because of the size but the whole combination of the moist and caramelised banana bread, with its sweetness contrasting with the savoury peanut butter. Topped with the fresh acidic kick of fruits, mellowed out by the milky whipped cream. Very delicious. Coffee was okay. An ice white gets you a bottled drink which was very milky and creamy in texture. The taste of coffee didn’t quite stand out, but it pairs well with the food. The croissants are big and flaky! The toppings may not look like much but they are well balanced in proportion and taste. Interior is cosy and calm on a weekday morning!
