Peacehealth customer reviews

This review is for the patient waiting room itself. Some people waiting with the patient or if they’re the patient themselves, should really be courteous about the volume levels and types of conversations they have. There’s literally a time and place for everything, talking on the phone while using an obnoxious tone of voice and being loud while there’s other people in physically and emotionally in pain. Then you have the people that are with the patient that are having the most in appropriate conversations with the person next to them. There was literally a Molly Maid employee being dramatic first thing as she came through looks like she was going through a fever dream but saying downright the most racist and disrespectful comments about her not wanting to deal with her Mexican co workers and have them finish her job. Meaning she probably does a bad job a cleaning to begin with and blames another race? Like why are there people that don’t know how to keep their mouth shut when they’re in public settings like this. And then another lady being scandalously loud on the phone about her missing father and the whole room was tuning in onto the conversation because people can’t seem to turn off their speaker in front of everyone. It pisses me off that they don’t get in trouble by the staff or let alone the security guy that’s just there to look intimidating. The hospital people are nice though and I appreciate them. But some people from the public that are just there to get checked in have to deal with weird, obnoxious, annoying people in that room. If you go in there have some respect and courtesy for everyone around you

Been here six hours now. Still in the ER waiting room. We need a damn medical professional. Not to sit in a room full of 65 people who arrived three hours after we did. I hope he lives long enough to see a real doctor but to be honest, it kinda seems like they enjoy seeing so many people in pain and distress, it’s fun for them I guess. Don’t recommend but we dont have any damn choice. Whatever is wrong with my friends internal organs, these people don’t care that’s for sure

Came into the ER after stumbling down the unmarked stairs at Pioneer Square. Was triaged in less than 30 minutes. Considering the volume of patients I think that was a great achievement. Got a room in the back, once Xray’s were read, meds given, splint set and I was discharged. All through my stay I was treated with kindness and with the upmost respect. I can only compliment and thank the staff for how I was treated. Now as far as Pioneer Square; How can you NOT mark those stairs with some type of cautionary signs or some yellow bright paint so they can be maneuvered safely? Something should be said…. Thank you Peace Health. A happy customer….

Me and my partners family came last night after my partners mom was puking for 40 minutes straight after we all went to bed. Before we went to bed we drank a little but we didn’t have more than the night before. When we got their everything was fine if not worrying until they brought her back out to us to wait and she couldn’t stop puking and was in a lot of pain yet the nurses kept treating her like a dumb child and were nothing but rude to her and us whenever we would need a blanket to atleast keep her warm or just an update on if she’ll be seen soon. They made her wait for 4 hours while she was laying on a bench puking and crying in pain. They would help people who came in immediately before they helped her. When we wanted an update they told us “since she doesn’t seem as bad as earlier (they didn’t even try to see if she was ok) that she had to wait cause she’s not important enough” that is disgusting especially since some of the people coming in were coming in for things like a headache or a bad “feeling” in an area. They chalked it up to alcohol poisoning and made her feel worse before sending us away. It’s the next day she’s still puking and still really sick. Alcohol poisoning doesn’t do that. This hospital is a joke that needs to either have new nurses and doctors or be completely shut down cause clearly they don’t care enough to help people that are extremely sick. Which is their job.

In 2018 my mother suffered a severe stroke. She had a 4cm bleed on her brain that was inoperable. She was an hour away from Vancouver at the time luckily as we live about 3-1/2 hours North. I have to say, I strongly believe if it wasn’t for this place that she would have died. They were awesome. While the nurses take on so much I know it was hard for them to get to her at times where I wanted them to. But, they always did their absolute best. One of the male nurses at the time was a little questionable and with some valid concern they moved him. While it was so long ago I cannot remember any of their names. I wish to this day that I could. One of the nurses there had worked there for 24 years at the time. She was amazing. I remember she wore a bindi on her forehead. In such a raw and emotional time, they answered any questions I had regarding any medical procedures that would be administered. Even the respiratory specialist was awesome. I never forgot how much they were there to include me and let me know the possibilities of the outcomes we faced. I truly believe they saved my moms life. She’s still alive today.
