Payzone have been contacting me for a few months now offering me “much better rates” for taking card payments. I had about 30 calls from a sales person since January. When I finally decided to listen to his offer, he told me he couldn’t tell me offer over the phone but he could send a sales representative to my business for a chat and he would go through the charges with me. I told him I was still on a contract with my current provider but his exact words were: we will show you how much money you can save, then you can decide if you want to switch to us. Sales representatives came into my business and bullied me into signing a contract with Payzone, I told him I still have a contract with my current provider but wasn’t sure how long for. He then told me I could cancel this contract with Payzone in case I still changed my mind. I have contacted my current card payments provider in order to check how long I still had with then to find out I was still on a contract for a year. I have then called the Payzone sales representative who told me I can cancel my contract as he told me before, all I had to do was to fill in a “right to cancel" form he had already emailed to me. I have done so but after not hearing from Payzone for a bout 5 days I rang costumer services who transferred me to the cancellation team. Cancellation team told me i cannot cancel my contract as i am a limited company so the "right to cancel" rule wont apply to my case. I advised them i was informed by the sales representative that I could cancel but they said it is also irrelevant as this isn’t in writing. I have already sent 2 emails to this sales representative asking him to please confirm the information but he chooses to ignore me. I have been lied to, bullied into signing a contract with the promise that I could cancel and now Payzone expects me to use their services for 1 year. I wish I had never allowed this sales rep into my business.

I have not come across a worse company in my 30 years of business. Firstly the company could not update my card terminal to my new bank account details. It took months of phone calls to pester them, they past me from one person to another and still it wasn't done. I then cancelled my contract and left the company. 16MONTHS LATER!:-They take £406.00 out of my bank account and say they never received my terminal., which was sent back by DPD the day I left them. Still trying to get my money back 2 weeks later after 5 phone calls and being told different information from different people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am reporting them for fraud. ZERO STARS. One star is flattering them.

I would give them 0 star if i could. Please people do not trap in the nice and friendly words of their salesmen they promise you the price but when you receive the bill you will be definitely surprise and if you want to cancel the contract they will keep you as long as they want for no reason apart from to rob you. from last 15 months i am trying to close the account but they not let me. totally a daytime robber.

Never enter into a contract with this company is the best advice I can give you. Had a 2 year contract and was informed by the sales rep that the contract just went onto a rolling month by month contract after this time. However when I decided to terminate I got the rude and smug answer that the contract auto-renewed and that I had to pay a six month termination fee. They might call this business, I have another word or words for it. Parliament needs to look into this and I will ensure that everyone I deal with knows about the above circumstances. Never ever again.

Currently still holding for Customer Services after 25 mins , however, 1st Chap was helpful enough but had to pass me on. In February gave them notice to terminate contact in June 2019, however, despite e mails , and numerous phone calls we are still receiving Invoices and they have not notified Barclaycard that our contract is terminated . Eventually spoke to a "reasonable soul" who indicated this was now a logged official complaint and that Complaints department would access the original voice tapes to ascertain if they had officially been told to cancel contract ( this being despite the fact we have E mails to that effect !!! . Not going to hold my breath, On phone for nearly an hour.
