Oak Ray Hotels

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views of the river and balconies with a great rooftop pool. But my bathtub didn’t drain well and the shower only got lukewarm warm. Also elevator to the third floor is broken but other floors work which is odd

It was such an awesome stay we had at the Oak Ray Regency Kandy. Rooms were cozy and spacious, quiet yet nice environment. Staff is really helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Tiran, who is a really friendly gentleman who looked into every need and didn't forget to stop for a friendly pep-talk whenever he sees us! Food was really delicious yet the buffet carried a small variety comparatively to other peers. Highly recommended place! 👌

Had an excellent one night stay with our 1.5 year old baby. On request we were given a very spacious room and it was clean and very nice. It could easily be a 4 star hotel. All 3 meals were buffets with live stations and all the food was so delicious and nothing to complain about. Variety wise it was average but for the amount you pay its more than enough i believe. At the checkout we have forgotten a gold jewelry inside the room and immediately we were given a call and handed over it to us safely. Very good view. Nothing to complain about anything.

Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms provided were triple rooms even though we booked double. But definitely no complaints they were very spacious and clean. One room had a balcony area as well. The food was tasty and a reasonable variety was there. Helpful attentive staff. The rooftop area is a very nice place to be in the evening or early morning.

This hotel felt very strange and chaotic when we arrived. We stayed for one night, including dinner and breakfast. The food selection was good, but the dishes were bland, and most meals were “stew-like,” making it hard to tell what was in them. The room was huge, but the AC didn’t work properly, and the fan made a loud noise, so none of the three of us slept well. The hotel’s design is confusing – I’m not sure who the architect was, but navigating the hotel is difficult. You have to switch between two elevators just to get from your room to the restaurant.
