Northside Tavern is a must! In town for a laid back Jazz Festival and needed to get down and dirty and funky and sticky! Northside checked all the boxes! Met the owner Tommy, the bartenders Evan and Sam and Natalie Rose the funkiest sister this side of the Mississippi. Nothing but love 7 days a week!!!

Went today for friends birthday after trying to find a place with decent priced drinks and good music. After several failed attempts at other fancy bars we found Northside tavern. Bar tender was super friendly and didn’t mind helping find the correct size tshirt for a purchase. Pool tables and sticks were level and square.Great dive bar if you’re use to bars like we have in Athens area.

Really awesome experience! "Divided by 5": great blues, jazz, soul, R&B and more. The vocalist had an astonishing voice! She knew exactly how to project it. Musicians were all outstanding! The stage poured out talent in all directions!

We went to Atlanta to visit a close friend and wanted to hear some blues so this was our first choice. This place has been here for many years and the live bands are always super good and entertaining! Don’t park on the street! There is a parking garage right there that we don’t know about and after we came out our back passenger window was smashed. Besides that we had a super fun evening. I recommend this place for some great live blues music. We will be back!
