We have used this software for a number years - not necessary by preference but because once tethered to this software it is hard to extract yourself. Over the last 18 mths there has been a litany of "flawed" upgrades which have been difficult institute and some we were told to abandon - they would get back to us (that now appears to be the company's moto). The last 6 months has been bad. Since July 2022 there was a significant Microsoft / Software integration problem which has take ages to sort. Now the fix is in and now ADobe PDF software doesn't work - Story of our lives - a fix just generates another problem. We have now logged another support solution - don't expect anything anytime soon. The main problem is no-one answers the phone or emails. You might get a platitude email - "we'll get back to you" and nothing happens. You ask for a resolution process under Dept Fair Trading and you get no response. This company is bad news - very quick on sending out invoices for annual contracts but 5 requests later for a copy of said contract - no contract - we are told - just pay up or the keys will not be supplied and the software will be locked!

The software is good, but it's absolutely impossible to get a hold of technical support. If you contact them via phone, you wait for over an hour for someone to answer but the line gets cut off before they pick up. If you contact them via live chat on their website, the numbers trickle down from over 20 to

Commenced using MD software in 2000 and even when the mass exodus of MD users moved over to Best Practice we still stuck with MD. Have just been shafted with our MD and Pracsoft subscription fees....no discussion, no prior notification....and after many, many requests to speak with someone with authority, we just received hollow words from David Diebden regurgitating his next level management had been advised but very busy. In the end, they never returned my many phone calls or emails and we were left hanging over a barrel to renew our subscription at the 11th hour. ABOMINABLE SERVICE to a loyal committed customer by a company attempting to attract new clients with the Helix program. The response time for MD Support calls has also been blown out. Feel ripped off and violated and ready to move to another medical program. Would advise any potential new customers to check all other options first.

Terrible, terrible software company. Was with them for over a decade. They left us in a terrible state of affairs because they promised us something, then could not deliver it and refused to extend time without paying a whole year because of their stuff up. Avoid these guys. Their website looks great, but the product is definitely not and their customer service is even worse.
