Marketstar customer reviews

Do Not apply for this company they suck. They will have you fill out an assessment and take forever in responding there talent acquisition team never answers the phone there lazy. I've interviewed with them 7 times they will give you the run around and wait 3 weeks to send a rejection letter I'm sure they will go out of business considering how many projects they've lost.

This is a good place to get your foot in the door when it comes to a sales position or a telecommunications position. When it comes to long-term growth. I was not able to see that with my future at this company. As the only minority a race on the team. I noticed that even though I would hit my stats and do what I was told. Other people that were caucasian we're getting more recognition and better advances. When I asked for a raise due to my performance. I was told no to find out that they gave other people Who were caucasian ended up getting promotions or raises. Ultimately that's when I decided to leave the company. The coworkers themselves are a great support system and an awesome pier staff. When it came to higher measurement I felt very excluded working there as a minority.

The company is all smoke and mirrors. They will lie and cheat and take your money. They make up reasons to release you of your contract and HR does absolutely zero work to help you when you’re being targeted or sidelined by a terrible manager. They don’t care about health concerns either. Management actually told a disabled veteran to look for a full time remote job due to health problems they knew about when hiring.

This place is what I thought to be legitimate, but it turned out to be a complete joke. I applied here for a sales position after having nearly a decade of sales tenure, and was told constantly on several occasions that my sales performance was top notch and I wouldn't have any issues at all with their "Graduation test" if I did it exactly as told, which I did. I bafflingly failed the first one, despite receiving little to no remarks of needing improvement in previous mock calls at all whatsoever and then their staff proceeded to be as vague as possible regarding as to "how to improve" and didn't bother showing me "why" I failed. It felt like I was being setup for failure at that point. Since the staff was being vague and dismissive to how I needed to properly present the second and final attempt, I had to ask MY COWORKERS who gave me INFINITELY better advice than any of the staff members did, matching their grading rubric down to the finest detail, and completely aced the final test only to be escorted out "Because I failed" and was asked to "reapply to other positions" because there were "many positions eager to have me be a part of their team given my experience." The funny thing was they decided to escort me out when another coworker immediately got into an interview after failing her graduation calls. Totally not biased or anything! Weeks later after being told to apply to other departments and even contacting the managing gentlemen that their hiring email (That I was told to email so I could apply again) continuously proceeded to block any of my resume attempts, He told me he would look into it (Expecting the future attempts to be met with responses) only to be sent return emails of "My application wasn't chosen at this time" from then on. This "Graduation test" seems like It's a literal free veil for discrimination and cherry picking for them. Oh and since I'm here I guess I'll admit I may as well have dodged a bullet because while I was studying there I could hear from rooms away a COMPLETE MENTAL BREAKDOWN of a manager from a different department going into strict detail how he feels he isnt progressing at all and how Marketstar has ruined his financial situation. I honestly should have taken the red flag and left, but between that and the ridiculous way they decided to "define my worth" with this rigged tests I can pretty much say this "Marketstar place" doesn't appreciate or recognize sales talent at all and definitely made me feel unwelcome, discarded, and overall lied to.
