The ambience was excellent, and the food was delicious—perhaps because it was my first time trying an authentic Indian restaurant here in the USA. There was no long wait, and the service was impressively quick. I would definitely recommend it 100%.

#Mantra is a bit upscale #IndianCuisine. The interior is very comforting with good hospitality. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. They have some unique dishes including “Kathal ke Kabab” and “Fish Curry”. The recipe is slightly different than North Indian recipe but good and tasty. They have #halal options. The food at Mantra wasn't as flavorful as it looked; most of the dishes we ordered were bland and overpriced. The one highlight was the lamb rogan josh, which deserves a good compliment for its taste. Everything else fell short in terms of flavor. The customer service was just okay, nothing exceptional. Food presentation was nice, hot, and freshly made. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, making it a pleasant place to dine. It was very difficult to find parking nearby and we ended up having to walk a few blocks to the parking garage. While there were some positives, the overall experience was just average.

Great ambience and decent food. The dhal tadka was nice and spicy. They give complementary rice for the table which I appreciate. You can factor that in when ordering food. The quantity was good for 2. The masala chaz was too thick with too many spices and not so enjoyable. Hence the 4 star.
