Mama's Minerals

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and they had an event for kids the day I went. My son loved watching them cut open and clean the geode they gave him. We looked inside the store and they have a wide variety of minerals, even jewelry! My son is looking forward to going back so he can get a couple of things he really liked. The price does range quite a bit depending on what you are wanting but they also have affordable items too. If you want something high-end, they have that as well. Diverse selection and pricing! We will definitely be back. They are also very kid/family friendly!

I like the shelves of Southwest minerals but they have a giant selection of rocks and crystals from all over the world. Quartz points by the pound!!! Super friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable place to browse if you like rocks and beads

I visited Mamas Minerals like I have many times before. I was excited to see lots of $3 grab bags scattered around the store. I thought what a great idea and how much fun my youngest kid and grandkids would have receiving one of these bags for Valentines Day! I was thinking small polished rocks and little treasures for them to wonder over. Well, all bags have been opened and I’m extremely disappointed. I’m glad I was there to supervise. Every bag had broken (sharp) items in it. A key chain that used to have a stone attached to it. A necklace with a broken and sharp piece of glass attached to it. Two broken random pieces of wood….not even sure what they are. Unidentified unpolished rocks. And broken crystals and selenite. There really should be some type of disclaimer to let customers know that the items in the grab bags could be used as weapons or shanks. A warning “not for children”. Or maybe you just stop grab bagging items that are all broken and really should just be thrown in the garbage. My kid/grand kids are all bummed out!!

Took some rocks I found to Mama’s Minerals. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. If you have any questions go buy. And their new location is great.

The store is amazing! However this review is specifically grateful for the wonderful candy-free Easter egg hunt and event the shop put on. My kids were so happy with their eggs filled with cool rocks! The numbered eggs left equal eggs for everyone and the free geode was a great ending! Thank you mamma’s minerals, this was so well put on! It was an awesome value as well and not packed with people 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Amazing amount of everything gem and mineral related. We spent an hour getting lost in it all. My niece selected an intact geode and the staff kindly sawed...

Large store with a lot of beginner minerals, tons of beads and jewelry making items, very few fossils. Staff were not very knowledgeable about specimens. Disappointed. Southwestern Minerals is much better and they know details about their inventory.

This is a huge rock store, also selling beads and findings. Interesting to walk around the store and see the different rocks, most are for sale. Plenty of parking available

I enjoy going to Mama’s Minerals. They store is large and well organized. I love learning more about rocks and crystals and come home with something new every time.

There is something for every budget here. Beautiful pieces and lots of beading supplies. The staff are friendly and helpful.
