MacRae's has the perfect riverfront location on the Homosassa River. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance including one on the property with entertainment. There is a boat ramp, ice and laundry on premises. Overall, a great place to stay for scalloping season or boating and fishing.

We stayed in the suites with kitchenette. It was excellent. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location is beautiful and there is a nice bar/restaurant right there and several others nearby. We would definitely return again.

Horrible customer service and the food sucked !!! I ordered a hamburger and asked the rude bartender if they would make it medium rear… she said “ no problem.” My burger came WELL DONE. When I brought it their attention, they said they would make it again. When the guy brought it to me - I said I hope it’s done medium rear he said “ this is good as it will get.” It’s was well done again… I threw it way. Who says that to their customers… and the onion rings were brunt. Avoid this place. Go to Casey Crumps across the way.

You won’t find a more magical setting than this cabin-like waterfront gem. The staff makes you feel like you’re part of the family from the moment you arrive until you reluctantly check out. And no trip would be complete without climbing aboard for some fishing. Make sure you say hello to the local legend, Bonnie the Bait Lady!

We had a wonderful time at MacCreas. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Music was great and view even better! The food was good, I had crab cake sandwich, he had a burger with fries. We went there in two separate occasions and each time we had great service and a wonderful time.
