L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Bruh nooo... I can't believe that this is the representation they put out for L&L. Food is definitely not up to par with the real thing. For starters I found a hair in my curry katsu before i bit into it. See photo. So you know how the food is handled back there. Also, they put the curry on my katsu instead of separating it. I did a take out so by the time i got home it was all soggy. Why didn't you separate the curry? Especially for a takeout. That is restaurant 101. The bbq ribs looked like pieces of charcoal. It was THAT dark. And they left a piece with just all bones no meat on the bottom. Real nice. I shall take my money elsewhere.

If you are looking for a dive with good Hawaiian food then this is your spot. You order at the counter and then find a spot to sit until they call your name. Most customers are collar workers looking for good food and a good value with big portions. This place delivers on all three. The Loco Moco was very tasty. The burger patty wasn’t dry and the gravy was tasty. The eggs were good just right. They were very busy during lunch but they get their orders out fast. Would definitely come again next time I’m in town.

The staff were awesome and friendly! The music was a vibe! The food was 🔥. Will definitely be coming back for my katsu and curry fix!

First, and most positive, the service was outstanding. The gentleman who took our order was kind, helpful, and really excited to see each customer. The ordering experience was positive. Second, the food is average. It wasn't bad at all, especially for the prices. However, I just don't see myself going back for that average of quality. It's really basic and not that special. Lastly, the space on the inside is cramped, and take out might be the best option when ordering.

L and L in Aurora CO is as authentic as we will get Hawaiian cuisine. I recommend the Loco Moco, Pulled Pork, and Spam Musubi.
