The prime rib was amazing!! That au just was incredible! The risotto was a table favorite. Calamari was tender. The spaghetti with shrimp was the only thing that didn’t wow us. The chicken Parmesan was pretty good, but a bit soggy. Good service. Good drink selection. Definitely worth a visit. Make reservations!

Okay, may be it’s an unpopular opinion. I wanna know why this restaurant has privilege to occupy more than half of the sidewalk for their outdoor seating 24/7 all year round?! As you can see there always a table place 3 feet away from the main door blocking the corner of way. There is an elementary school nearby where many small kids and parents with stroller walking by. Everyone has to squeeze on a tight space. There’s a construction (under same restaurant?) next to it and the work continues for years which also blocking the way to school. I’d avoid walking that route because it’s not safe to us. I donno the rules of outdoor seating. This restaurant occupies the public space as far as possible, but please be considerate to the neighbors especially to our children who need to pass by on daily basis!!!

Beautiful restaurant and outdoor space. The food and drinks were both good. We particularly enjoyed the Artisanal Cheese Plate. The service was a bit lacking. We went without water for the majority of our meal and waited quite a long time for each course. My fiancé also had to tell the staff (between the host and our server) three times that it was my birthday before they said they could do something with desert. Then the desert was not comped. That would’ve been fine if they hadn’t already been so strangely hesitant to acknowledge my birthday. Just a little odd. I also wish there had been more vegetarian options. Overall, however, we had a good experience. Juan, our food runner, was lovely.

Overall we had a lovely dinner here. We made a last minute reservation and were seated on the second floor. Service was attentive and food was well paced to enjoy our bottle of wine. It’s not the cheapest place but the portions were good and everything was fresh. We started with the oyster platter and sparkling wine. Then I had the duck breast, which was perfectly good. The sides with that weren’t my fave but the beet salad paired nicely instead. My hubby had the fish and chips—so good and a nice portion. The bread pudding was just okay. I’d certainly come back again.

I always go for the leftovers on the prime rib! We can’t have it on Wednesdays so we make it on Thursdays and they are still delicious. My first date with my wife, then we went during the pregnancy, we have now yet to go with our new 4 month old but this was our monthly favorite spot for Thursdays. Regardless if you sit in the main room, side room or upstairs. Great all around. Nice when the piano is playing.
