We recently visited this resort for a family vacation with our kids. We were pretty disappointed with the quality of guest service and simple lack of organization from the moment we arrived. The front desk and check in process was pretty chaotic with long wait times for the check in process and actually getting to your room. Language barrier wasn’t a problem for my family and I as we are fluent in Spanish but even with that it seem to be a “bother” to some of the hotel staff when we would ask questions. Some pro’s about the resort is their beach area is clean, family friendly and great. The pools were also well maintained and clean. The guestroom is comfortable for a family with a gracious size balcony. Our cons on this trip is number ONE the food quality. The Asian restaurant was closed on one day , and the buffet food was a honestly not good. We mostly stuck to eating just fries , fruit and dry pasta. I would be very careful and also pack medicine as my whole family and I became sick from the low quality of food, our burgers were pretty burnt, the pizza oven wasn’t working probably which I understand but no communication is given and waiting almost an hour with hungry kids without information as to why it takes so long is very rude in my opinion. I have worked in the hotel industry for 15 years and was very unimpressed with their lack of communication that staff had . Each trip and experience is different , so my advice is to read reviews, go in with low expectations to not get so bothered and pack some snacks.

We recently stayed at Nickelodeon Punta Cana, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning beaches, fun activities for kids and adults, and top-notch dining options. One thing that really stood out to us was how inclusive and welcoming the resort is to people of all religions and cultures. It’s clear they make a genuine effort to ensure everyone feels comfortable and respected, which made our stay even more special. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the water park and the character meet-and-greets, and we loved having time to relax while knowing they were having a blast. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the attention to detail was impressive—everything from the little surprises for the kids to how accommodating they were with dietary preferences. This was truly one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had, and we’re already thinking about coming back. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and inclusive place to vacation, Nickelodeon Punta Cana is perfect!

While the resorts has it pros it also has its share amount of cons. The staff is great as they always completed every task we had asked them to do. The pool was great and the facilities here ante amazing. The staff for the most part is great and our “guide” Manuel was a great guy helping us through high it everything and solving every problem that we had and even giving us discounts on tours and such. I will say thought the pools closing at 7 makes no sense as I do understand there cleaning it kinda forces you to go back in your room. And the ones on the bottom are only for the first floor rooms. The room service is below average as sometimes when we called they didn’t even pick up. And if they did they would say 5 minutes but take upwards to 15. I understand the walk can take a while but sometimes they would t show up so we would have to call again. Also one of our keys stopped to work so we went to the front desk and the guy wouldn’t give us a new one and said we had to use the other one as it wasn’t their fault the key wasn’t working. The front desk staff are very rude and not very welcoming as they seemed to have an attitude and not really wanting to help and just wanting to move the customers along. Overall I would said if there are no other options then I would recommend this place as it isn’t the greatest but definitely not the worst.

Review – January 11 2025 I am extremely disappointed with the service at the Nickelodeon Punta Cana Resort. We visited with our kids, spending over $7,000, and expected far better basic amenities and overall experience. Unfortunately, the resort fell short in several areas: • Food Quality: The food was mediocre at best. The buffet service was disorganized and frustrating, making it difficult to get what we needed. • Language Barrier: If you don’t speak Spanish, it’s a challenge to communicate with the staff effectively, even for basic needs. This was particularly disappointing, as we expected better support for international guests. • Kids Club: The kids club was a letdown. Our children couldn’t fully enjoy it because the staff seemed unprepared to engage with non-Spanish-speaking kids. • Activities and Costs: The slime show was unnecessarily loud and overpriced, and the character breakfast had exorbitant prices, offering little value for the cost. • Lack of Order: The hallways were chaotic at night, with kids and families running around, and there seemed to be no system in place to maintain peace or enforce quiet hours. For the price we paid, we anticipated a much higher standard of service and family-friendly experiences. This resort needs significant improvements in its organization, staff training, and overall guest experience to justify the premium cost.

Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana – Honest Review Unfortunately, this resort does not live up to expectations. • Service: The majority of the staff lacks warmth and basic manners. While a small group of employees is professional and friendly, overall, the service feels cold and unwelcoming. • Facilities & Maintenance: The resort suffers from poor maintenance. Broken items are not replaced, and general upkeep is lacking. • Lazy River: Floating tubes are nearly nonexistent, making it impossible to fully enjoy the experience. • Transportation: The internal shuttle service is extremely limited, making it inconvenient to move around the resort. • Food Quality: The dining experience is very disappointing, scoring below 45%. Despite having multiple restaurants, the menus are unappealing, and the food is subpar. • Basic Amenities: Shockingly, the resort does not provide essentials like ketchup or straws. • Recommendation: A chef replacement is urgently needed to improve the dining quality. Overall, this resort falls short in multiple areas, and unless major improvements are made, it is not recommended.
