Worst service ever. Their delivery people would call that they are coming to deliver but would never show up. We call several times, they drop the calls. Weeks later, they would call to tell us we can only get our order if we can come to meet them at a certain location yet we paid for door step delivery. One begin to wonder if their delivery agents now work for kidnapping kingpins and syndicates yet Jumia does next to nothing to track the persformance of their delivery agents on the field. All that we get is “first delivery attempt failed”. That’s a corporate falsehood, there was no attempt at all. It’s better to say “we are sorry, we failed to deliver”. To me, one of the worst service delivery systems in Nigeria l, arguably the worst at least from my experience. On a good side, I think they may be slightly better than NIPOST

I used to tell people to use Jumia till I was paid for an order and cancelled it because of the time it will take to be delivered. I received my refund that day on my book balance and I was debited the next day after the refund. I have escalated to them but their coconut head finance team and customer service have not been helpful. This is the last time I will use them to get things. People shouldn't buy from them

They sold a used product to me when I wanted to get a brand-new product, after returning it the next day, Jumia refused to refund my money and they are not responding to their messages.

Extremely terrible service. Due to terrible experiences I have had with Jumia, I only use Jumia when I have no other option and I really need a particular item I can't get at a better price or by a specific date from another store (physical and online). So I rarely use their service. In my experience, if you can get the item u need from a physical store or a better online store, it might be better for u. Jumia has delivered incomplete items to me before, even though I paid in full and in advance. They refused to refund my money or deliver the complete items ordered for several months. Jumia has also claimed "free delivery" on an item from their official store, but still charged me for door delivery. I paid for items and door delivery in advance, but then Jumia told me to go pick up those items myself in a different state, over 400 kilometres from delivery location. Their customer service numbers are useless (either u are on hold for a really long time and still no one attends to you, or they activate their 2020 covid-19 recorded message which tells u to request a callback but hangs up the call before u can select option for callback). Their customer service email addresses are equally useless; your email bounces back undelivered, or you get an auto response with a link to a non-existent complaint form. Their social media support just provides generic responses, and it takes them forever to resolve the simplest of issues. Bottomline: the Jumia experience is a stressful experience that may result in customer losing valuable time and/or money. Buyer beware!
