Service is good so two stars but maintenance of the place is below par. Had very unpleasant experience. AC is not working so was sweating all the time and the odour is so bad it smelled like rotten eggs inside. Would not recommend this Jawed Habib store.

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my recent service of haircut from senior stylist. Not that my previous times were any good, I was a fool to come here for haircut. The stylist assigned to me was Sameer who was overconfident and kept on selling his products. He suggested me a spa, I got a spa less than 5 days ago. He kept telling me how dry my hair is and that I should go for Keratin or Botox as if I don’t know these are just hair destroying and money making tactics by stylist. I told I would prefer a bouncy and voluminous hair cut which I usually do without compromising on my hair length. I said no compromise much in the length atleast 10 times which he ignored as he laughed off boasting about his immense talent and that I should trust him blindly as he knows what is best for me and I dont. He gave a feather haircut and called it a butterfly cut. I have been getting this cut for 14 years, it can still be done without cutting it too short. A good hair stylist styles your hair keeping your concerns and requests in mind instead of imposing them on you despite multiple denials. Any stylist can cut short but a strong and sensible stylist will keep it as and how you want it. He cut extremely short side swept bangs while I kept on saying no. He kept on insisting it will look nice while I told I cannot maintain. He then cut my hair extremely short. I have coloured hair. It is dry, I know it and I maintain it pretty well myself. However, he cut the untangled part, i mean huge portion of my hair was cut. He cut it too short, from waist to just a little below shoulders and I am traumatised. That wasnt the inly torture. I got hair root touch up done from him. He did not apply any cream on my forehead. Even the men stylist apply a cream before hair colour. This one did not. As a result, the colour came on my forehead. So much that it was super visible. He said it would go away in two washes. That’s not how it is done Mister, this is a noob mistake. Some colour transferred to my cheek and neck and to remove the colour, he bought cotton soaked in nail paint remover and rubbed it. The face became red because I have sensitive skin. Mind you, he didn’t tell or ask he is applying thinner and upon asking, he hesitatingly told. After I came home, I developed a rash which looked like an allergy. I have burning sensation and itching in these areas now. I also got pedicure done, while the lady was very sweet, cleaning wasnt done properly for dead skin. I am traumatised from This experience despite paying 4000₹ and it was so not worth it. I am currently exploring legal options how what can be done for this case but strongly suggest take your chances accordingly.
