Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

I was up there Aug 8. Warm at the bottom and cold and windy at the top. Great views! The waffles were also yummy. Be careful the air is very thin. Elevation = less oxygen.

World class destination ski mountain. Fun things to do and see year-round. Nothing here is cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but it is definitely a place you need to visit if you're an outdoor enthusiast or skier.

Great terrain variety, great snow, Corbets was crazy. Amazing views! What more can you ask at a ski resort? Was here in 2021 and again in 2024. I will be back!

We drove by and decided ti stop to ride the gondola. There was live music, food tent and we really had a good time. Only complaint would be they need more options for breakfast that is not a $30+ buffet

This is a great mountain for intermediate - expert skiers. With its 13 lifts, looming over cliffs and chutes. In the morning, grooming is clearly visible, but it’s important to watch out for ungroomed blues and double blues (yes, this mountian has them) by looking at the daily report. Lift lines took around 5-10 minutes in the mornings and around 5 minutes on weekends, with almost no line on weekends. Only 4 lifts were slow speed (excluding 2 magic carpets), which can easily be avoided. There are two 6-8 person gondolas, with the one called “Sweet Water”, which takes you to the small beginners area. The other gondola, Bridger, started a bit late sometimes due to avalanche issues, but none of the lifts were broken. Lodges all around (which sadly didn’t support Ikon Passes for payment), with many cafes and restaurants. Bathrooms could be found almost everywhere, sometimes missing sinks if not in a lodge. Waffles at the top of the tram are interesting and strongly recommended. The ski school at this mountain was busy. At the base there were a few shops and an ice castle that kids are able to crawl through, with a few secret tunnels (not good for tiny kids). Many parking spots around the base of the mountain, with some parking lots costing $10 (up until 3pm) and some being free, which are farther away. Shuttles were also provided, coming relatively often. Overall, it’s a relatively scary, but beautiful mountain. It’s important to make sure you’re up for it. The liftees were friendly and talkative, and the mountain hosts were happy to help with their vast knowledge.
