Jack Stack Barbecue

Some of the best beef ribs around! My wife and I ordered some BBQ to go, we had a gift card, and it was all fantastic! The beef ribs had a ton of flavor, the beef burnt ends were juicy, the cheesy corn and beans were fantastic, and my wife loved her sandwich. The carrot cake dessert was great as well. Personally, it felt like the icing to cake ratio was a little off, but delicious non the less. I had to walk through the whole interior to get to the pickup order, and it looked immaculate inside. It seemed like a perfect place for a date night or BBQ lover. Overall, I highly recommend it!

You GUYS. A 100% MUST for BBQ in KC. I came at 4:30PM and there was an hour wait. I just walked to the bar and I was so lucky one of the high top tables was open. Pro tip - the bar area (not the booths) is open seating so always smart to put your name down, and then go grab a drink at the (FULL SERVICE) bar and keep an eye out for a table. I tried the smoked salmon dip to start which was very good, I just wasn’t expecting it to be a cold dish so I was a little sad - but only my fault! After that — BOY! I got the pick two combo and I did the lamb ribs and a whatever ribs were the most expensive ones? Prime something - I’m on vacation so I splurged. Okay those expensive ribs were HUMONGOUS. they were fall off the bone delicious. Also, my sides were the house favorites which were cheesy corn and baked beans - also phenomenal. My server Jason was exceptional. It was a pleasure to watch him literally working the room all night making sure everyone was taken care of. This man knows the true meaning of hospitality. Last - I’m NOT a huge dessert person - but the lady at my hotel said the carrot cake was a must have. Especially, I’m NOT a fan of carrot cake. But Jason actually convinced me. He said it was “like a cinnamon roll”. What you need to know about Jason, he is not a liar. It. Was. Amazing. Also, have to shout out Isaac who was working the bar the whole time (I was at a table in the bar area). Isaac was also a sweetheart and a master of hospitality. I had very limited time traveling here from Houston and I was really excited I made time for this!! 🩷🩷🩷

My first night in Kansas City and I ordered in Jack stack. It is going to be hard to top this in the next few days. I ordered the three meat combo with beef spareribs,burnt ends, and brisket. My sides are coleslaw and potato salad. I ordered a side of the spicy sauce. This is incredible. The ribs are almost falling off the bone, but not quite so they are perfect. Everything is delicious. I might have to go to the same restaurant in person tomorrow.

Visiting from Michigan. Nice clean and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waiter Frank was very attentive and fun. Way to go Frank, great job! The mac and cheese and baby back ribs were my favorite.

Visiting from out of state. While in town, I decided to go to this restaurant based on the reviews. I was not by all means wowed by the food, it was okay, have definitely had better as the beef and sausage lacked taste. Therefore I’d say that I was a little disappointed. Price wise, their prices are reasonable based on portion sizes! The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. If in town again, I probably would not visit again.
