Overpriced Budget Hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly service. Service is in general good, considering that this is a budget hotel. The rooms and the common area is interesting and the deco very “loud” and arty. I was traveling on business so unfortunately this is really a wrong choice for business travelers, as there’s limited amenities in the room, and no breakfast. Parking garage is hidden on the other entrance so a bit tricky to find. But for single flashpackers, this can be quite a good choice.

Had my flight cancelled and booked the hotel at around 10pm, no issues upon arrival, large and clean rooms, the place feels trendy for students and young people. If you are travelling with someone in the same room, be careful that the showers are in the bedroom so privacy might be an issue if your travelling partner isn’t someone very close to you. But besides that everything was great!

Hotel is great, clean and funky, in a great part of town; sadly however their customer service is something you’d expect from a Dutchman (rude as can be). I stayed there 6 weeks ago, and for some reason they double billed me and I have yet to get a refund for the second charge. Utterly ridiculous.

We booked 10 days during Dutch Design week. The location is great and the rooms are nice. Unfortunately nothing seems to work. We went 2 days with no lights working in our room. And so far 8 of our nights the thermostat won’t work and the room has been too hot. We have repeatedly gone down to the front desk and every time we get a different excuse. Some one always tries, and then says they fixed it but it is never fixed.

Rude staff. We suffered an accident before the reservation, tried to warn the hotel as soon as possible, was available to send the medical reports and they were completely and utterly inflexible about canceling or even rescheduling the stay for later dates. I comprehend and agree that rules must be applied, however the communication and the help offered was disappointing. Had a similar situation last year with my wife and we were not treated like this.
