My first hostel ever so I’m probably spoiled with this as the first chance to check it out. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were really clean. They provided bedding. Card access control for extra safety. Storage bins under the bed were large (bring your own lock) and the restaurant is awesome. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay there. Very quiet on the day I was in Lake Louise; the room I got was super comfy, clean, and had a good view over forest and mountains. Staff was polite and friendly, I felt welcomed in every way. The restaurant is good too (Peyto’s Cafe) with a warm fireplace and a good choice of beers. The upstairs lounge is cosy and feels like a mountain lodge. There is a storage room, a vast kitchen (clean and functional) and a free sauna. All in all I would 200% come back here. Thanks ☺️

Their staff are absolutely amazing!!! The bed is so comfy and so are the pillows!!! This is my first time going to Lake Louise and everyone at the Alpine centre just made it that much better so thank you everyone!!! I would also like to say a thank you to Emily, who helped me with where to eat and with shuttle services she was so polite and friendly and full of smiles. She was awesome.!!!

First time I have stayed at a hostel. Pleasantly surprised. I have nothing negative to say. Only good things. Rooms are good with comfy bedding. Shower facilities were imaculate. I would recommend a stay here.

Stayed 2 nights in Room 503 a 5 bed dorm room. I stayed in the top bunk in the loft. Yes, I drew the short straw. The climb up to the loft will give you bragging rights for ‘most elevation gain’! There’s a twin bed & a bunk bed in the loft. Remember your science class where you learned hot air rises? It’s definitely hot up there…and if you don’t have anything to drink after supper you won’t have to navigate the ladder to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but you may also feel dizzy from lack of fluids. Caution it’s a fine balance. Enough about the loft. The washrooms are clean & the showers have been renovated & decent. The lounges in both buildings are wonderful. The kitchens are efficient but can be a bit busy first thing in the morning. Please clean up after yourself as the busy, harried parents with the hungry kids will appreciate it. Perhaps offer to make them dinner they deserves it. The on-site restaurant. Bill Peyto’s is wonderful. The prices are good, the food portions are ample for hungry hikers, the local beer is thirst quenching & the service is great.
