I had an extremely disappointing experience with SHAUN WYNN from Horizon customer service. The representative was very unprofessional and spoke in a tone that made it feel as though I was begging for something, even though I was simply seeking coverage. Shaun Wynn, the agent assigned to assist me with my application, provided the worst service I’ve ever encountered. It’s the start of a new year !!!!how about being more customer-oriented? Overall, very poor service. I would not recommend.

I’ll preface this saying all American health care providers are absolutely horrible and sadly this one is the best option. They make u pay monthly premiums to deny every claim you make. Once you call to find out why said claims aren’t paid instead of getting to the bottom of it themselves, they give you an objective to complete essentially doing their jobs for them. They needed paper work for my newborn son that he wasn’t covered under my wife’s insurance policy which also did not even exist. (Had to contact that insurance company for official paper work and they gave me an extremely hard time). Another example, I see one out of network doctor I paid 100% of payments out of pocket and for them to reimburse me they needed that out of network provider to register as an out of network provider… (I found out all this information after the claims were countless denied and after hours on the phone)Leaving the tasks of bothering doctors and all this behind the scene paper work and emailing for me while I already pay them hundreds every month. If they tell you they won’t pay, fight em tooth and nail until they do.

They must be outsourcing their healthcare like they’re outsourcing their service. Do I have to go to South Asia if I want to find an in-network doctor? Just an absolute joke of an insurance company. You’re better off without it. I promise. Coming from a young, healthy individual who pays over $500 a month and can’t find simple care in the most densely populated state in the country with one of the supposed biggest “insurance carriers”. Feeling extra annoyed today with their daily inadequacies, so I thought, whilst casually logging into their nightmare website(and app), that I’d pester them like they love to pester us. Cheers, to the jokers at Horizon BCBS.

WORST INSURANCE EVER! I have been trying to get into contact regarding a bill, and they say please hold while I transfer you and hang up. It’s the same Indian woman everytime. I have been trying to adress this for months. This company needs to be shut down. I am going to end up in collections because of this companies lack of compliance. And you bet your buttons I’m going to do something about it.

Horizon is a terrible insurance! I got insurance for having a baby and in April my baby was born. They did not tell me once baby was born, the baby doesn’t automatically get placed into plan or that I have 60 days to put them in plan. Instead the doctor visits after the hospital get covered for 60 days.i have taken my daughter to doctor visits and got no notification that she was not in plan. Then 4 months after her birth the doctor office tells me she’s not in the plan. I called horizon to add her to the plan. They said it’s outside the window of 60 days and we can’t help you. We can only help you if it’s closer to 60 day window! So they only file extensions to certain people ! Ridiculous absolutely ridiculous!! Now my daughter is without insurance for rest of the year. I don’t recommend anyone get this health insurance! The lack of information sharing is unbelievable!!
