Placed an order on the 16th of December for a gift bast for Christmas- this is what was sent to my people. The fact that they received rotted fruit was bad but fixable… but not easily- the chat customer service experience is AWFUL! I couldn’t get anyone on the phone (that I could communicate with because I couldn’t understand what the agent who answered the phone was saying) very disappointed.

Once a go to for holiday gift giving and I used to be excited to receive a Harry & David gift. Quality has dropped significantly. 1. The pears are no longer fresh and if you are lucky they will last 3-days. 2. I ordered a gift basket that came as a "do it yourself kit". A gift basket came in a box with the ingredients and the basket which we ordered with the name on it came with a Velcro patch that didn't even stick to the basket. Nothing wrapped at all. Not a finished product. So glad we didn't send this directly to the recipient. I am done!

I bought a 12-month fruit and cheese gift basket for a Christmas gift. After 7 months they stopped delivering without notifying me or the recipient. I was told by the recipient that they had not been receiving the baskets. I called H&D and they informed me that they had cancelled remaining deliveries due to supply chain, and reluctantly agreed to a partial refund. After 30min on a call I am not convinced I will ever see the refund. I paid over $650 for these gift basket deliveries. They are thieves in the worst way. (Update- 3 months later) - I never received the refund for monthly orders not delivered. I called again and they said they will process refund now. Turns out the 800 service number on the order certificate is for an outsourced company with no connection to H&D. They can’t even take feedback and provide to H&D management. They are definitely a fraud when it comes to caring for customers. I sent my Christmas gifts through GoldBelly this year. I’ve used them a couple times and they seem dependable so far.

So much to choose from! All the staff very helpful and yes it's pricey but the specialty foods, candies, gifts you won't find anywhere else. My favorite are the Riviera pears, they are Heavenly!

Plenty of things in this store to keep you engaged. Their fresh fruit is sometimes priced much better than the local supermarkets. The variety of items from local producers to hard to find items makes this county store worth visiting. Each time I visit, the employees have been very kind, helpful and welcoming. Have gone on the H&D Tour twice and that's another must-do. Nice look into the inner workings of what makes H&D special.
