As a lone diner, I was forgotten and had to go to the host station to get waited on. I found this unsettling, but ordered anyway since I was there from a distance. I had a cup of soup, squash which was a curry, fair but quit spicy. And the lime Shrimp salad I did enjoy, along with A pint. I did hope for a better experience, but on a Monday, it maybe par….

OMG!! Guys this place is absolutely delicious! From the cheese curds to the outstanding Mac n cheese to the best sandwiches! We were so happy we found this place when visiting from Charleston, SC and our waitress Jordan was SO helpful with yummy recommendations and prompt friendly service. We will definitely be back very soon! (:

I wish I knew his name (I found it on a receipt Scott H. I hope he was just having a bad day or maybe he should pursue a new career) but when I go into a brew pub, I expect my server to give me feedback and information about the beers on tap. I also think they should be personable and enjoy their job. I got neither. I had the fish fry that was greasy and crappy seasoned fries that I would expect from a grocery store freezer. The cheese curds my daughter got seemed like the frozen type from the restaurant supply house. And my brother got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich that he said was fantastic. Good news is the beer is all outstanding. They really have done a good job with the different styles and offerings. The place was big open, clean with games and lots of monitors great atmosphere. I would go back, but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

Finally took myself and the wife here for the first time after delivering their food truck order two years ago and just making my way around town spotting their various locations around the Madison area. Our waitress Devan K was amazing! This girl can hold a meaningful conversation and her service was top-notch. I did not have to flag her down to place my order or ask for things as she checked in frequently enough but also not overbearing! Thanks Devan for making our first visit to Great Dane a memorable one! Good luck on your higher education journey!

Stopped at this old favorite when the place we were going to wasn't open. As usual, food and service was outstanding. My only gripe is that this location does not have near enough parking. Lot was full, bit the restaurant was half empty. We had to park about a block and a half down the street and walk. I had he Irish Reuben with Kohl slaw and Polly had turkey and Avocado sandwich with hot apples as a side.
