GKB Opticals

This was my first visit to the store. Must put on record that the only reason I decided to switch loyalties from my previous brand was Ms. Neha Teli (Senior Optometrist). Neha is the definition of professionalism. She is as customer centric and focused as one can ever imagine. Her subject knowledge is better that many who claim to be the best in the industry. This coupled with her patience and clear communication goes the distance to instill the much needed confidence in a patient. She is an asset to any organisation that she will be associated with. Will switch brand loyalties, yet again, if ever Neha decides to move. The organisation should keep this in mind, always :) I wish her the best in all her endeavours.

Great salesmen, but TERRIBLE after sales service. And I speak as a customer of over a decade and someone who has bought over half a dozen pairs of spectacles from this store. I had to go back after a Lindberg frame (I thought supposedly indestructible!) developed a hairline crack at the hinge. But it was still wearable when I gave it for repair. However when I got it back the hinge was completely chipped and broken. When I pointed this out they told me that it was chipped when I gave it to them! Mr Hiten (?) Solanki at the counter claimed that they were returning the frame in the condition I gave it to them - and completely refused to entertain my representations that it was just cracked earlier. It was a turning out to be a futile exercise, until thankfully, the attendant who had collected it earlier walked in, saw the frame and uttered, "It was just cracked when he gave it to us, but it is broken now!" So this is how they handle customer service - by calling the customer a liar! Thank God the attendant walked in on time. Otherwise I would have never been able to convince them that they were at fault, and I was not lying!

Need to continuously update stock this is lacking and made me look out for other stores. I have been a regular customer since 10 years but now looking at other options. Service staff is ok. No other complains.
