Gardens by the Bay

I have reviewed the paid attractions separately within the "Gardens by the Bay," so this is about all the free stuff, and there's plenty of it. This area provides quite a diverse collection of scenery, so just spend time wandering around the paths to discover its many interesting features. I recommend walking all the way down to the Marina Barrage, where you get a great elevated view of the city.

Excellent day out. Free to walk through the area. But highly recommend purchasing tickets to enter the flower and cloud domes. Also worth paying to catch the elevator up to the suspended bridge. Give yourself a few hours to explore. Pack your umbrella, worth visiting rain, hail or shine. I purchased my tickets from the main ticket office between the flower and cloud domes.

This is a massive garden which offers stunning city views and a lot of variety of structures and flora to see. Ensure you have around 3 hours of time before arriving here, there's a lot to see and do. There is the hanging gardens-esque structure with a waterfall, then you have the artificial tree groves where you can go to the top of the largest one and get yourself clicked with the flyer or the marina bay sands!

Such a beautiful place to walk and wander around. We got tickets for the Winter Wonderland, which was for New Year and Christmas, and it was beautiful. The lights, the songs—everything made it so special. Definitely recommend it!

i visited in day time and it was quite nice. the walk was very long from the marina bay sands but easy to follow. unfortunately there was a construction under the trees so i could not get the feeling of "grand garden". i thought it will be better at night to see the lights.
