I have used many ACs of good brand in past then i got to know that O General is considered best in ACs segment so this time i thought to spend more money with assumptions of getting better product. Sharing my own experience on this brand ACs i had taken 1. Just After completion of 1 year, warranty ends and AC cooling coil damaged with multiple holes in only 1 year for one of the ACs 2. I called up their service dealer, as per him the coils are being used are very low in quality now a days. So it happens. 3. When i checked on the price of coil replacement, i was told almost the double rate (15 k to 16 k) than any other brand coil charges 4. I had left with no option than to replace the coil, i checked the warranty of new coil and gas leakage, i was told by their service person 1 year 5. I thought to replace it with new basis warranty suggested. 6. I was surprised that they didn’t have part available and they replied after so many days that they will arrange something which took them almost 10 days to arrange 7. Now new surprises come when coil comes to home, it was not a sealed packed material not dispatched from their inventory but it was an open up material from any new AC of them and even damaged at many places on fins. 8. Next surprise comes when i again rechecked to Company’s area manager on warranty communicated to me, area manager told me how can dealer give 1 year warranty, it’s only 1 month. This was after paying him huge amount of replacement. After all this mess up, i wrote the mail to their customer care team mentioned on website which is never available on phone call to discuss even if you call 100 times They generally send automated reply that mail has been forwarded to concern No concern person calls at their end This is how the most expensive AC manufacturer, an MNC serves This i my personal and worst experience i ever faced in any other ACs i hv used till date Only oneway, no one to take accountability of faulty things

3rd class installation from o general . Had to escalate multiple times to get a basic installation which is again done by third party freeze point . Their contract freeze point technician, dint bring spirit level and pvc foil tape and asked me to buy . Don’t they know they need to bring them for a client installation? I later received call from Hari Velan who claims to be service manager , who wasn’t at all helpful to customer remorse but shows only attitude as if customers are at his mercy. Totally 💯 worst experience from all levels . They treat customer as crap for buying such a premium AC.also there is no escalation matrix Available to take it to higher ups. Please avoid o general . Its my humble and honest feedback

I have checked many ACs brand & bought this O General is considered best in ACs. But within four month AC cooling failed. I gave the complaint & checked with the technician, they are telling indoor leakage is there it’s due to coil. How dare this could happen within four month of newly bought AC in best store CROMA with the high price of Rs.70k non inverter AC. I swear surely will file a case in consumer court against them. Spending a lot of money & got screwed with in four months, how could we bare?

Multinational dependent on only third party usless services, dint employ its own paid staff and like Ford and General Motors will have to wind up unless some senior investors look in to absolutely poor ratings

What a pathetic company - their customer service number ends up nowhere after you answer all the prompts. Tried many variations but couldn’t reach anyone and the call gets disconnected eventually. DO NOT BUY THEIR AIR CONDITIONERS. LOUSY PRODUCTS AND LOUSY SERVICE.
